I had a free night when no-one was available. It just hit 1AM though, so i should hit the sack.
Here for storage, currently just a pretty face and a cool LAM. Weapon ideas welcome, I'm currently thinking a slug launcher but want something more badass.. Maybe I'll just have 2 stage rocket slugs that telescope into axes or something similar. Don't know, too late to care. Currently its a shitty bulletsprayer, weak as piss, probably rapes terrain, didnt test it.
Really, really happy with the hair. Jetpack effects/sprite (currently browncoat) and toughness coming, did the time consuming stuff now, so i can tweak it and add effects later.

Bubs: obviously I took most of the browncoat sprites and ♥♥♥♥ about with them. about 60%-75% of the pixels have been redone individually i would say, but the basic form is still there. hope you dont mind bubsy :3
Darlos: LAM CODE STEAL LOLOLOL heavy edit though. Have a look if you like the line, i got it working about 3 past twelve, broke it at 12 past twelve, and got it working as it is now by 10 to one. Saved me the trig though, which is what matters. I used a cruder identification method.
Prom: Zombied a few bits of your sprites in the gun. Quite a bit of it was retouchedup, but credit where credit is due

The weapon is absolutely rubbish (oh I love the laser scope, but I hate the laser scope. and what does the lua script do anyway except heal him?


The laser scope is great to have at close range, but farther away it's impossible to use.
Make it spam more mopixels. I DEMAND IT!

Hahah, I remembered the dependancy or however that's spelt as soon as I got into bed, and it kept me up till 230. So it didn't work out for either or us. Only reason I didn't come and fix it was that this laptop takes about 30 minutes to turn on, and I'd have probably woken up with the keyboard embedded in my face.
Actor's Script only heals him currently.
Fixed Download in OP. Should be using Coa pistol sounds now. I have to run for a train now god I'm so disorganised.
TODO:
    FIX DEPENDANCY OH GOD - sorry about that, it was pretty late.
    Make weapon less crap - suggestions for a weapon would be good, by I'm thinking 2 stage rocket propelled slugs.
    Make jetpack effects less ♥♥♥♥ than base - soon
    Make actor tougher - he needs it
    Make some grenades - later
    Make the laser line denser - for lizard

look at the DarkStorm lua alternate fire setup and give the gun a under-slug 2 stage rocket. for main fire a machine gun that every third round is a shotgun blast?

I dislike tracers being anything except a critical shot, not a separate ammo type..
I was thinking of the underslung thing, but using the darkstorm code only an actor coded with it can use the secondary fire, from what i understand. If i was going to take that route I'd make it a keycombo anyway, like I'm going to with all of the special actions (he isn't called action hero soldier for nothing (it's also a gimmick, bonus points?))

It has potential geti I'll tell you that much. However I was kind of miss-led by the title upon downloading this (I didn't read the op). So yea I came into this expecting some kind of lua craziness attached to this actor (I thought it had super powers ie: shape shifting, turning into a regenerative sand monster thing you know).

Yes, I like him. A lot.

As an action hero, you need dual pistols, or smgs.

If you can make it buyable as 'one weapon', then comes in as two guns in both hands, It'd be great.

Then, you need a badass machine gun.

He's likely going to come with all the weapons, that will then be buyable separately. the backhand SMG/GL, whatever, can be unbuyable and unique to him. Cheers for the idea.
Need more unique weapon ideas, I dont want bulletsprayers other than the AR's primary fire.

An offhand device that emits a visible/non-visible ray. Any actor that falls under the ray is stunned, allowing you to use your FG hand weapon(a knife, preferably) to face-stab the helpless target.

Or...The hero's suit has a built-in emp that has a large blast radius but slow recharge. Used to evade sticky situations.

Explosive charge/grenade launcher, remotely detonated by an alt-fire key.

hrrm a creative weapon idea I can do that!!!

How about some sort of swing katana type weapon with a flaming chainsaw blade, and jet boosters in the hilt that propels you forward. With a little cleavorness you could add a long ranged energy flame blast attack, or have the blade turn into a flaming chainsaw whip of some kind with the press of a button.

A katana luncher where the katanas skewers the target all the way through (blade pierces through the other side of said target).

Bad Ass Explosive Throwing knives that actual stick in their targets and terrain with like the handle hanging out or something. Anyway once your satisfied where your knives end up you can press a button ("Z" on the keyboard or something) and the knives you've thrown will detonate into firery explosions of death.

A cleaver that grows longer every kill you score with it.

Disclamer:
I could do this all day but I'm going to stop now before I get hurt (told to shut the hell up). I'm not entirerly sure any of these are possible or good ideas so do whatever at your own discretion just dont hurt me.
