here is the ION. The ION is a faction i started a while ago and have been working on. The concrete gun is a gun that shoots concrete and kills, need to make sharp aim longer :( . The death RPG kills. The MG is a strong rappid fire gun. the test dummy needs to be made stronger, and i need to change the exit wound. :) the drop ship is quite strong and can carry alot.


Stuff to be added, ION soldier, ION BOT, ION r0ket, ION smg, ION bunkers, and ION tank :grin: .


Update: fixed rpg, made shot gun, and changed some sprites.

Looks kind of like a resprite.
And has a dependency on HuegPackOfMods, has an imba MG, and two concrete spayers that can kill, and an rpg, with a missile that looks like a tampon. ( Taken from the code and the sprites )

ION isn't very descriptive, neither is the OP. Please update it with a description about whatever 'ION' is. Either way, downloading to see what the heck it is.

EDIT: Ok, I didn't even need to test it for 5 minutes to know what's wrong.
Machine gun: sharp aim is so incredibly short, the AI couldn't possibly use it effectively. Also, 400+ oz. for a single machine gun? seriously? Ans, the casings are particularly acidic (eats through terrain).
Rocket launcher: Insta-kill rocket. For only 110 oz? at least make it 200+, and increase the reload significantly, probably longer than the bazooka or coalition rocket launcher. I think you meant to swap the machine gun and rocket launcher's prices, no?
Test dummy: Pretty obvious resprite (ok, you did a better job at it than my first attempt of one); the only significant difference is that you replaced the standard wounds with rocket wounds. It's not much stronger than a normal dummy, anyways. Try to make it more... unique. If it's a test dummy, maybe make it able to soak up more gunfire? Of course, increase the price if it's better than the dummy.

Please try to expand on this mod: make it unique so that people will want to download it because it offers something the other mods don't!

Dude, there is something called 'Google' you can search up many thngs on it.

The DS is a very crappy resprite, don't get me started on the engines, and the flame!
Tests dummies aren't supposed to spew fire, it'd ♥♥♥♥ with the results of the test, mod dependencies are very very bad, evn moreso when it is a mod that the user doesn't have!

Oh, and almost all of the mods that have unlocked threads are still in progress, even when their version numbers goes to or above 1.0.0!

I took the time to download this and try it on the new mission I DL'd. I have criticism!!, but it's constructive criticism. The concrete gun has nothing to do with concrete, is not a tool unless you count guns as tools of destruction, and is actually a better weapon than the machine gun, which doesn't make sense. I forget which one, but one of them has Sharpaim stuck up the barrel. Also, IMO it makes no sense for the clip to be on the end of the gun.
Dummy wounds, :P I accidentally got a little scratch from something, then the dummy took 10 damage out of nowhere, then fell over and died. Not good.
The DEATH ROCCKETTT does not kill things. That ticked me off. It did hurt one of the Ronin actors, but then every time I shot it at him, it just hit something and disappeared. I'm guessing you're using code or something to kill what it hits, but I'd rather just have a rocket that actually does damage to things.
One last thing! (or two.) The dropship is... good, but that's because not much is changed. I do think I like the point on the bottom that keeps it from getting stuck in the dirt, if that is what it's for. The last thing is that the shells from the bullets do more damage to terrain than the RAWKET Propelled Grenade ! The shells should not be made of rape.
And to finish it all off, I do love the dummy description: "A dummy used for testing... things."

The concrete gun needs a sound that is not so annoying. But it does sound like a taser! :D

A respirte.

The mg weapon. 2/10
Needs more sharp-aim, if you don't want it to be more accurate then make the sharp aim shake range the same as the normal shake range.
The fire sound is annoying.
Terrain rape.

The rocket launcher. 0/10
Pitifully under-powered.
It disappears when it hits something, and does nothing.
Add some sharp MOPixels and fireballs.

The concrete gun. 1/10
Removes more terrain than it creates.
The bullets come out at high speed, make more come out at a lower velocity.

The dropship. 6/10
I like the effect, even though it is crappy.
Its just a whiter dropship, doesn't look all that bad though.
A resprite.

Overall: 2/10

It seems that the rocket launcher doesn't work for alot of people... Works fine for me...
What it does is upon gibbing, it kills every actor (doors included) within a certain radius, most likley done with Lua.
Is it because you are using a Mac OS, or does it not work for some people using windows as well? I'm using windows 2000, and it works fine.
