I felt like making the Holy Hand Grenade. It's aight I suppose

Good clean fun, but more naughty snuffing might would be nice.
Will the next version include Book of Armaments and a carrying case for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch?

Edit: I might be getting a sprite from Thunder Toes too. So I will wait and see what he comes up with :D

Hmm, after seeing this I remember how the bomb worked in the original game. It had a powerful shockwave that sent people flying. Now while that is obvious and is usually done with particles, but how about making a Lua based boost? It would be less lethal, but keep the actors in one piece... unless they hit a concrete wall instead of a sand pit.

Hmmm, it is very faithful to the original Holy Hand Grenade, but it feels weak for a weapon with such holy name. It'll also need the instructions, text or voice version.

A nice little mod, I'm always game for stuff that goes boom.

Now that we have a Holy Hand Grenade... we need the other half of the equation...
A deadly weapon, perhaps resembling a pet carrier, it is a cross between an RPC and Homing Missile Launcher, its shot will hop and burrow instead of fly, it seeks in exclusively on necks, regardless of side... and the shot resembles... the embodiment of pure evil. :twisted:
Evil so unspeakable I dare not say its name.

Anyways, back on topic.
I noticed two minor things when toying around with the Holy Hand Grenade.

1: I have had at least one occasion where (possibly due to hitting or getting hit by something), it suddenly 'stopped' and hung in mid air a few seconds before it went off.
2: Testing in the mission First Signs, I was chucking Holy Hand Grenades when the big crab showed up... I have had three occasions so far where the Holy Hand Grenade more or less 'instant kills' the big crab. One time, it was basically at full health. It basically gets reduced to 'dust' and little bits during these times. Other times it seems to do damage (a few points worth) without simply blasting it to crab powder.
But then again, being a "Holy Hand Grenade", instantly taking out big, tough foes on occasion is probably a good thing.

And if you complete the ceremony, the grenade is 3 times as strong.

Also, yes, we need a holy grenade launcher.
But, it will be too powerful. That IS a situation where you might want to make ammo for it (The grenades)
