And now, for the moment that you probably haven't been waiting for unless you knew it was coming... Beat your opponents in speed and looks with new hovering technology! Using a number of gravity-defying implements, the new line of hoverboards will outmatch any vehicle your opponent can throw at you! From tricks to the tracks, let's take a tour of some of the variations available. THE HOVERBOARD Dafred models the standard Hoverboard, used for quick and easy transportation. A standard hovering board, used for quick transportation. Hold down CROUCH to go lower to the ground and charge an extra-high jump. The longer you hold it for, the further you will jump. THE JETBOARD Dimitri shows off a Jetboard, equipped with multiple rockets for extreme speed. With rockets instead of hover pads, this board moves faster than any of the others. And, as if you needed to move any faster, you can get a boost by pressing CROUCH. THE STEALTH BOARD Mia flaunts her Stealth Board, designed with the tactical advantage in mind. Useful for espionage, the Stealth Board can jump higher than any other board and stops on dime. Being sustained by twin high-tech fans, it also runs quieter and cooler than you could imagine. Hold CROUCH to hover at your current altitude for a short period of time. THE HACKJOB Brutus proves that he means business with the Hackjob, ready to remove anyone's limbs in a matter of seconds. Hicks in space! Take a lawn mower engine and some scrap metal and tie it to a pair of fans, and what do you get? The Hackjob! It's loud, it's slow and it's weak, but once you've lopped off an enemy's head with a pair of rusty fan blades, you won't even notice! Hold CROUCH to hold the board at an ideal mutilating position, but only if you're moving fairly slowly. THE TRICKBOARD Gordon stands proud on his Trickboard, a recreational vehicle designed for flips and stunts. A modified Hoverboard designed for tricks. Its regular charge jumping ability has been replaced with the ability to rotate the board while holding CROUCH. Now that you've learned a bit about each of the boards, it's time for you to take the wheel! The controls are as follows:
LEFT to accelerate to the left RIGHT to decelerate to the right CROUCH to use the alternate mode AIM UP to aim up AIM DOWN to aim down FIRE to fire SHARP AIM to reload your weapon It's that easy! Order yours today! Now for the not-so-fancy info and stuff: This mod comes with fully documented Lua scripts. Feel free to use them for your own creations. Make sure to read the README if you have any problems. Currently, there are two bug that I know of. Somehow, accessing the buy menu while on the hoverboard sometimes causes crashes. If anybody knows what is up with that, let me know. Also, actor's feet don't stay on the hoverboard once you start moving. Can't really fix that right now. Credits to ThunderToes for doing sprites. It would have been butt-ugly without them. Enjoy!

<3 TLB My favorite developer, even without making cool stuff like this in addition. Damn cool. Now we need hoverskate park maps. I haven't even tried them all yet, but it earns a permanent place in my mix. I can really only find one thing wrong with them, other than the bugs. You can't pick them back up, which really isn't great for tall shafts you can easily jetpack up. |

TLB, that is freakin' awesome. The jetboard is my favorite, and the trickboard is also very cool. Seems to crash quite frequently, though. |

I seriously haven't encountered any crashes aside from whatever it is going on with the buy menu. How that's happening is beyond me right now, but I'm looking into it. |

Just had my first crash, but the hoverboards are fantastic, I would really love to be able to fire my actors weapon whilst I'm on it though. |

Suggestion: Have the board able to aim, and have it able to copy firestate and aim angle to actor. Nice job having boardable vehicles without getting extremely hacky. I considered having the loading code all at the vehicle side, but by the time figured out how to do it and keep restricted card based access, the code was already in for rider based loading which was complex and hacky. |

Seraph: Done. Added a patch to the OP. Mail: I would do aiming but it would get confusing, I think. Also, what button would be reload? And actually, this would not have worked nearly as well without your info on MO finding. That's how the formula for height above the board is calculated, as well as knocking you off if you have no legs. |

Now to get on these with an MPAM. xD Sad to hear about the crashing, if that could be fixed, this would be amazing. ... What about binding the boarding key to something else than the pie menu? |

I had it with crouch before but it was too annoying. I can't think of much else to use. |

These are really amazing, just one thing I'd like to see: The actor's legs being pinned when they're riding, but that's the only thing. At all. Just incredible. |

Unfortunately, the legs are beyond my control. There is no way to change their rotation, as the game just resets it regardless. Pinning them also doesn't work. |

Okay, well that really isn't an issue, for they are probably one of the best mods out there. |
