Check it out, its a gun that fires needles. Got the idea when I saw some one making medics with the bone saw. I made two of them. One works similar to the Team Fortress 2 one. The other one has its needles spew acid in the initial impact area. Have fun, and constructive feedback would be nice. Update: V2 - Dead needles don't stack up as much now - Caustic needles no longer eat the ground up as much - Changed a few offsets Update: V3 Thanks to Asatruer for getting the caustic needles working as I wanted them to work in the begging!

Umm, download? I assume you forgot to attach the file or the link to it... Seems interesting enough. Will test and tell you what you might want to improve on. |

Cooljoesmith wrote: UPDATE!!: now with download! I lol'ed at this. Sounds cool, i'll give it a shot. After Action Report : Guns sprites are nice, really nice. I like them a lot. I also like the simple fact that you took the time to make a module icon, thing that most modders doesn't do anymore. I also enjoy raining syringes on the bots and look at them go WTF?! jumping all around like crazy. Now for the bad things. WAY to much syringes. You need to make magazines with fewer ammo (lets say... 30-50) and increase the reload time. Also, the acid spikes the ground, i can help you fix that if you want. Next, the gibs should be pinned syringe replicas to show that they actually pin to things. The only downside to this method is that the syringes will pin into the air when shot at an actor, so you should give them a very low GibImpulseLimit and PinStrength and hope the actor shakes enough to gib that syringe before it stays stuck in the air or you could use lua, but i can't help you with that. (Something like if syringe hit actor then gib itself whatever.) |

A little too colorful for my taste, but the sprites are good. The muzzle offset looks like it might be off. The firerate and ammo capacities seem a little much. The syringes and their gibs bounce a little too much. Neat things you could add are directing the caustic damage forwards, as if it were coming out of the needle, and maybe cause the discarded needles to hurt people who step on them. |

I liked the gibs flying every where, but I do see your point. As for the caustic stuff, if anyone wants to get that working right and send it to me i would be grateful. |

I'm actually working on my own Syringe gun from TF2 for the medics I made that you mentioned. They will probably be the life leeching gun, and the healing gun will come later. This will be fun to toy with until then though. |

take the sharpness down on those particles, a lot. caustics dont work that way. |

Nice. Now, where'd those elephant tranquilizers go? I swear if I get some I'd be able to put some enemy actors to sleep. (go crouch, then twitch a bit...) |

I reckon making the needle sprites a bit smaller, giving the weapon more spread and a higher rate of fire would be nice. |
