Let's face it Lafe. Those sprites are terrible. But your coding is usually pretty good so I'm going to try these out anyway.

1) your sprites fail. but your coding is decent.
2) dont judge your own mods (ex: dont call it "awesome" or something)

Paperboy is right on this point. Be modest with your mod if it's not OMGWTFBBQSAUCE.

No wonder they'll never be official.

Insert constructive criticism here please. Don't post like this.

How many times do I have to say this:
NO ONE WANTS TO SEE YOUR SPRITES OR SEE ME SHOUT(mod edit, don't pay attention). Your mods are being let down by your sprites. Ask for a spriter, there's no shame in it, I can't sprite either.

Really,
well could you put more effort in those sprites, and as said before the coding is decent

If that really is your best at spriting PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE followed by more practice.
not flaming or anything but most people judge mods by two things, sprites and code (or at least me) so work on worst and you will have a decent mod.

I dunno, I think they're pretty good weapons. Slightly better than your usual stuff sprite wise. But I agree, you need practice.

Why lafe? Why would you release something so unpolished? I have a suggestion. Stop releasing unpolished mods and actually work on something. Your Monty Python mod was your best and that's not saying much. You need to fix your sprites and actually polish something. Also please show modesty when making a mod title.

Edit: after testing I have concluded that these are most certainly not awesome. Actually, their almost as bad as that coalition pack thing you released a while ago.

I have to agree. Just stop releasing these unfinished sub-par mods and work on them, adding effects and take some time on the sprites.

Flamablezombie was neccesary offender, I'm spriter,
I can sprite something for you, I can help you to improve your sprite ways...
AND I can shoot 4 thousand jokes each second, sprites needs fun ways to be accepted.

Ok, ill find someone to sprite some things, and in the meantime, im polishing the weapons and adding some content.

Find a spriter instead. You still wont get DL's if your sprites suck. Generally your stuff isn't revolutionary, and the sprites are bad, so people don't want to download it. Zalo, Areku, Shook, and some others may not have the best sprites, but the things they make are generally fun to use, and are interesting or new in some way. What you released was a poorly sprited, flamethrower, and a recoil less uber cannon.

Not so, the shells are non explosive, and everything is based off of a digger, also, the gas gun isent a flamethrougher, the gas must be detonated by a bullet, and it slowly saps the health of nearby actors.

Why use them then? A flame thrower is more effective, as is the revolver cannon. It's like me going out of my way to create a shotgun, when there's already a better version of it in vanilla content.

Also change the name of this thread. They aren't awesome, they have little or no similarity to vanilla sprites, and their not fun.

Overall rating:

Sprites 1/5
Coding 1.5/5
Fun .5/5
