Post Air Burst Grenade Launcher
Okay so yeah it's a grenade launcher (fired from the hip, oh yeah suck that's originality) that fires proximity, airburst, grenades.

Airburst is activated by going above a certain height; if you fire a shot like a mortar it's just about guaranteed to airburst on the way down. However, if not told to airburst, shots will automatically proximity detonate, with devastating (okay not really, I'm too lazy to make overpowered explosion) results.

So if I fire it high into the air it will only explode when it gets close to the ground? If so, sweet.

Needs moar effects, the one's it has now are kind of shabby; particularly the ones it has when detonation occurs. They make it look like a build 13 mod and I know you can do better. Good concept though!

This is the best mod ever grif my god I do not know how you do it you are so great I especially like the part about where it goes blowkills up the enemy
EDIT: After actually testing it this is a fairly decent weapon. The fact that it explodes before reaching its target helps a lot when you try to lob the grenade.

So what needs more generic "every explosive in CC explosions"? AKA a shitton of fire particles, bad looking drop flame, and SMOKE TRAILS EVERYWHERE?

Neat, simple, fun.
I was thinking of making a prox launcher but hadn't yet bothered, I hadn't thought of airburst though.

I suggest lowering the airburst height to 24 or something though; it puts the the epicenter closer to any potential targets.

Also may add some rocket artillery depending on whether p3lb0x minds me modding my mod of his mod. Or rather, releasing the above monstrosity.

You could change line 43 to

No, it's really not. In this game, they gib anyway. There's no bonus for wasting ammo. Therefore, I believe Ss2mans idea wins.

Hardly. If an actor is in negative health then they're actually not likely to gib; they've just keeled over.

This way you're quite ensured that they don't keel over.

No such thing as overkill - there is only "open fire" and "reload"
