Base Defense [B22 Only]
Ever been out on the field, dominating the enemy, when suddenly your screen flashes "FAIL", flies over to your brain, demolished with an indignant enemy soldier standing beneath? Well, my friends, no more, with the Base Alarm! Simply place this gadget on the ceiling of any corridor, and if any enemy soldier walks beneath it, it will sound an obnoxious buzzing, to alert you that your base has been infiltrated! With the new Base Alarm, you'll never be surprised again! Attachment: CeilingAlarm000.bmp Ever wanted to bring death to your foes, but couldn't be in enough places at once? Your answer is simple! Our new, special-design land mine! It's shape was inspired by the classic caltrop, ideal for destroying your enemies remotely! Been having problems with enemy dropships lately? Too tired of simply shooting off engines? The solution is clear! With the innovative Depthcharge, you can lay anti-gravity minefields, near impossible for your foes to circumnavigate! Attachment: Depthcharge.bmp Tired of pesky clones getting into your base, and you are left without means of defense? Make quietus with your troubles with our brilliant Ceiling Turrets! Scorch and maim your invaders without need of clumsy clones! Attachment: CeilingTurret000.bmp Attachment: CeilingFlamethrower000.bmp Attachment: Itsamontage.PNG Download today!

Re: Base Alarm
I believe I can now drink from the Great Mod River, for the Mod Drought is over! In short, there have been many mods lately, and I am content. Dl'ed.

Re: Base Alarm
This is better than the Security Camera mod that did the exact same thin in the exact same way.
But change the character height maybe? Unless you like having the AI shoot them to disable them.

Re: Base Alarm
This is cool. Make a whole variety of them, a la mode Whitty's brains.

Re: Base Alarm
Amazing! So simple, yet so brilliant. Variety would be great. Perhaps some that shoot at invaders? (Going to try that myself as well. Might be handy.)

Re: Base Alarm
I made something like this ages ago, but this seems much better. From what i can see from the picture it's pinned to the map and when an enemy actor gets close it shoots it with it's gun which fires particles with no lifetime so that it doesn't hurt them, as it's just an alarm, but the fire sound is the alarm. Am i right? Downloading now

Re: Base Defense
Added a land mine. Put it at the bottom of a shaft so the enemy's jetpack will set it off. Or simply shoot it.
