Agree with you about Armor Assault. It was my first fully scripted mission and did not turn out very good at all. The best solution would probably be to scrap it and create something from scratch using the same concept. But making missions is extremely time consuming and I'm already spending too much time working on my next mod.

I just registered to tell you this.
I feel that that mission was a master piece, and is easily the one i've played the most. It was simple, yet elegant. To say it did not turn out good at all is a complete lie. It was easily the mission I played the most.

I agree with you, DaMonkay, but it is just too easy. I can beat it with nothing but the armored car and 1 dummy with blaster.

You can beat it without the armored car really.

Just get the 10000oz and drive the car off the cliff. Order some Dummies from crates and you're good to go.

But there is that laserthing, how do you destroy that without the car?

You have 10000oz. Crabnuke, dropcrate filled with enough grenades to crack the planet in half, use your imagination.

Snipe it with the good old dummy sniper.

Dummy sniper doesn't have enough range, the laser-y thing has too much.

From afar of course. You can fire and look where you hit by holding the e-button down. Then adjust it.

Game mechanism abuse, well, a bit. But it works.

If you don't want to look ahead with the e-button you can just buy any gun with enough bullet range and start spraying at it until it's destroyed.

So, the armor car is just there, not necessary. But it's still a good scene to show off the armor car.

But that would be cheating. And you don't want to cheat, if you cheat you get banned!

Yeah, they tried it on me last time I think. Anyway, I love this mod, do you think it could be expanded to contain veiches for all the current factions? Because then you could make 2-player veichle v veichle maps.

I would like that too, and if I get enough free time I probably will.

I just tried to change the concrete sprayer into a flamethrower.

Didn't work... But I did change the MG of the car into a nailgun.
