Features have historically sold better than stability (until recently). Just look at Windows.

But history also there's a cut-off point where you don't have enough stability and the greater majority of buyers complain. Remember Windows ME?

'S why I put "until recently". There's a threshold where even the most features can't hide the bugs. Data hasn't gotten near that point though, so he's got plenty of time to keep adding on features before he will worry about that. Hopefully not though.

Right, since I'm way too tired after coming home from school (long story), I've not read through more than a few posts here, so if any of my questions have been answered before, please don't be mad at me and quote that or redirect me :)

First of all, nice mod! Lot's of content (although many of them are just resprited it seems) and cool sprites!
Anyways, since this is such a large mod and I don't want everything that's in it, I'm wondering how I can edit the files?
I am a complete n00b when it comes to programming (but I'm quick to learn!) but I really want to start modding, but never mind that for now, I just need some help with this so that I can enjoy the mod without flooding my ingame menus.

If you don't want to make everything buyable, you can reduce the weapons loadout significantly by choosing Weapons lite in the index menu. I'm tired right now, so ask someone else how to do it, or check the OP I think.

Yeah, I want it. Hope, I can use it.

It looks cool and surely adds some more action to my Trial-Version.
But can you edit the *.ini you give to me in that way, so I can order the UniTec actors non pre-equiped and all the weapons? This would be so cool!

Of course you can, if you think you can, but be sure to not use a rocket MK1 :0

Ye but the lite version might exclude something I'd like to have, so that's why I am asking for some help

Oh and as Roon3 pointed out, the download link is down.... Also the backup one seems to give me a broken .rar as winrar tells me that it's got some corrupt files and schtuff

Look through all the weapons and say what you like. The UniTec weapons tend to be the best in every case, but there are some really good ones out there.

@1nfernal: Tried redownloading it? The backup link works for me.

Anyway, I don't mind activating some more weapons in the toned down .ini's if people can name a couple that should be buyable.
The knife/shuriken and baseball bat/katana as well as the M202 will probably be enabled. I think I was a bit too zealous about disabling everything.

Open the file called index.ini with notepad or textedit depending on what computer you use and follow the instructions in every case.

Actually, I just tested the AA-12 shotgun. It's just a shell that gibs into a smoke sprite. Make it more damaging, and then I will buy it over the 35-gold one that does 3 times more damage.

Well it seems my troubles have yet to end, as after I having followed the instructions in the Index.ini and configuring it the way I wanted it, I started CC only to have it crash while it was loading...
