Just saw this. Just downloaded this. TLB, I would build you a freakin' shrine in my living room and sacrifice three children in your name every wednesday, but that'd be too messy. Instead, I'll just worship the name of this mod and bask in its glory. I love to make people's heads burst with a single click of the mouse.

TLB, you should put a cap on the speed at which the cursor can move while h and o are held, otherwise you cant throw anything at any considerable speed without it disappearing.
Could you make a version that uses the mouse? I understand that some people do not use the mouse to play, so you should keep the keyboard version, but a mouse version would be much more fun to use.

Quote: MOUSE: In order to use mouse control, you must set Player 4's control scheme to Mouse + Keyboard! Mouse movement translates to cursor movement. Left-click - use selected cursor. Scroll wheel - cycle through cursor types.

Re: The FBM CB 4200 - Automated Brain of the Future!
The stability is questionable it crashes on me sometimes and also lags alot but other than that this is the best brain out there and i have some ideas for it:
Anti-gravity Tool: Allows the selected troop to have no gravity so it can just fly around.
Mind Minipulation Tool: Use this on any troop and they become dumb so now when you walk around they follow you and shoot anyone who is not you including your own troops and the enemy excluding his own kinda (IE: if its a Heavy Coalition Troop it doesnt hurt those guys but hurst everyone else including the brain.)
Reprogramming Tool: If the enemy is a robot you can make them be on your team.
Gravity Point Tool: Sets the gravity to pull to the exact point you click until you let go.
Splicing Tool: You can change the current body parts to different body parts.
Map: By Holding Z it temporarily makes a map and when you release Z it disappears.
Order Troops: By Pressing X you can order 3 Light Coalition Soldiers with Compact Assault Rifles and a Shield and Pistol.

Also, after a lot of things start disappearing because of the high speeds involved the game crashes with various errors.

I agree with the map ability, but no on the others. I'd like to ask for the map display cursor to be a compass, or a dotted line with an X.

Whenever mine crashes due to the cursors it removes my backround and changes it to black. Do you know why?

Re: The FBM CB 4200 - Automated Brain of the Future!
I found that I could eliminate the vast majority of crashes by setting CC to my actual screen resolution, going full screen and using the mouse + keyboard. However, (using a mac) the freezer and invincibility tools invariably cause immediate crashes. rjhw1 wrote: Whenever mine crashes due to the cursors it removes my backround and changes it to black. Do you know why? My guess is the resolution of your monitor being not being reset properly.

CC just does that - if you watch the seam for long enough, you'll see people crossing it over it exploding.. I'll look into any fixes later, but no guarantees. I could not resist looking at your code and happened to spot the problem in the line of code below. Code: --Make the object fly toward the cursor position. self.grabbedObj.Vel = self.cursorPos - self.grabbedObj.Pos
The velocity of grabbedObj will be enormous since the calculation above disregards wrapping, and the forces necessary to accelerate the object to these speeds will disintigrate it. You sir, are a genius. I don't know how I missed that. I already had that problem with the pencil and eraser tool, and fixed it with SceneMan:ShortestDistance - I guess I forgot about this one. I've reuploaded a new version that fixes this. For those of you having problems with the cursor moving too fast, it was probably related to this. Redownload and see what happens. Allstone, that crash doesn't seem to be happening with the physics dragger, but after giving both brains GetsHitByMOs = 0 I did notice the cursor not disppearing and eventually there was a crash while I was doing nothing. This is likely related to setting GetsHitByMOs to 0 - any object with that off has no MOID and thus isn't a valid MO. That could be the root of the problem.

You could have the pencil do a 50% dither between what we have currently and Grif's Invisicrete - that's increase the structural integrity greatly, due to the fact that there'd be no pixels above each individual pixel to be affected by IsScrap. Alternatvely you could do horizontal lines, but that'd look kind of odd. Note to self, do not use powers that can erase objects from existence on entities I have shoddily and jury riggedly made invincible.

Re: The FBM CB 4200 - Automated Brain of the Future!
I have not managed to crash Cortex Command with this mod, but I have had it lag so much I needed to restart my whole computer.
Bloody stable considering how powerful it is and the fact it's a mod for Cortex Command (not the most stable game ever)
11/10
Edit: I take it back. Just crashed it repeatedly for no obvious reason. Fun, but not stable at all.
