I could have it pulling harder and harder after time, after the force is too strong, things usually rip apart.

As do I.

My only qualm was that sometimes it grabbed things, and they plonked themselves in the dirt and refused to move. Also, sometimes actors stood just out of range, scared by the particles.

And epic moment: A ronin flew over, got grabbed and swung straight into the dirt, gibbing itself.

Yes, I edited the pulling code some more, because I noticed that it pulled harder, the farther the victim was away! That caused it being pulled slower and slower. Should be constant now.
I also renewed the killing part, leaving it less to the luck now :)

Will release that once it's ALL working as I want it.

just tried it. tends to grab actors but not with enough force to drag them in, only enough to stop the moving away. Very annoying. make it pull them harder, even if it means you tear them apart as they get closer.

The slowmotion is rather the result of me being noobish with VirtualDub then the game lagging
Edit: i also know that my brain 'protection' fails :P

In my experience, current problems is that the vine doesn't drag so much as pin.
it Doesn't have enough power to suck you in, just stop you walking away.

Protip: Place 2 of these a short distance from each other, in midair, and drop an actor in between them. He'll bungie for a very long time.
