Re: Left 4 Dead: The Survivors
can you make it with survivors, and all the infected which are de-activated?
Generally speaking, you should not touch a topic if the last post was over a week ago. It's not against the rules, but it is quite a nuisance and people dislike it. -Duh

Re: Left 4 Dead: The Survivors
I made it b23 compatible and made them 'hero units' ie in the brains category. Or something liek that, I don't really remember. But do look in the brains category.

Re: Left 4 Dead: The Survivors (nothing new here, folks)
I know im a little late for this but when i was passing time looking at code and images in my cc folder i noticed in the l4d folder there are infected, listed as hunter boomer tank smoker and common. I got so exited, and then died when i saw it was just the sound files. that being there it has occured to me that someone was planning on making the infected?

Azukki was planning on making the mod, but is no longer. Next time check the post dates and discern this for yourself, saving the trouble of posting.

Re: Left 4 Dead: The Survivors (nothing new here, folks)
Yeah, the thought passed through my mind to make them, but I quickly realized that duplicating the special infecteds' abilities in CC would be far more effort than it's worth. They're particularly hard things to do in CC, and they're explicitly unoriginal. It would make more sense to instead make something easier, more fun, and original.
I guess I should have cleaned out the sound effects I wasn't using to lower the mod's filesize, but I probably won't bother now.

Ah. Fair enough. If you still yearn for special infected, might I suggest watching out for Zombies'10? '09 had a variety of unused sprites for various special zombies which may sate your hunger should they be included.
