I still think his cheeks are a little fat, if you made them more angular I think it'd fit a little better with the rest of his blocky appearance.
But that guy looks AWESOME.

@Brainwashed: Perhaps, but i'm definitely not going to get all "ELEPHANT FEET LOL" on it. But i'd still like them to be wide, and keep that "I can take a thousand ♥♥♥♥ hits" look on them. Also, i'm not sure if i can make the head better. I really like this design, and i think it would ruin the appearance to make it like, octagonal or something.
@numgun: And that is why i'm keeping the old design. ;o Also, maybe. If i can think of proper designs.

no, you dont have to. its just the shading on the cheek. remember the 104780 mockups everyone posted? the cheeks in some of them were better than the one in that picture, and looked more angular while keeping the shape of the head about the same. have a look.

Sweet! Adding that version to first post ASAP... There is one little thing though: I've saved the old sprites for MARS, but not the old code. I suppose i could just take the code from the fixed version, but there's probably more differences than that code, and i've changed a few things here and there. oh god i was so annoyed.. i'm in the process of making a robot and the head was all of about 3 pixels too big on each side, so it looked way too big.. had to go and resprite most of the head and all the attachables rawrawr. also just from looking at it, i think some of its chest plates should be a tad darker, just to nitpick

I'll try and see if it makes it look better. But in other news, the pack has been sent for beta testing, so with any luck, you should be able to download it within a few days. No guarantees, though.

I particularly liked the air strikes/mortars/what have you~ I do think the air strike targetter should have a better scope though. Of the other things I played with, I thought the plasma rifle seemed a bit weak, and wish I could give napalm grenades to my soldiers when I'm setting up my base, since they do have the tendency to burn them to death instead xD
