I prefer to have as little of the leg be the foot as possible, because you can't actually shoot and hit the feet. Also, do not want stiletto heels.

@Roon3: I would have done so, but the large feet would theoretically prevent it from sinking into the ground, like the old design does. It's the one thing that has been bugging me the most about that version. Making the feet smaller reduces the area on which the weight is distributed and so on. (Conveniently, pressure is also the current topic of physics class is school)

@Grenade: Well, seeing the foot from an isometric view, i imagine it looking something like this:

And because you're only seeing the side, it's hard to give it any good shading and so on. That, and i can't think out any other design, seeing that you've already rejected my interpretation of the sketched foot. :P

Hmm, the box shape for the feet is a little bland. Try making the feet a little more less geometrical, add some unique kind of architectural design- e.g., the MPAM's foot is kind of like a heel, the Oppressor's is like a claw, etc- something not as ordinary as a block or a potato-shaped foot.

head is still to boofy.
make the feet wirey, like almost segmented rather than boxy. 3 pressure points in 3d, 2 at the front, 1 at the back, so only 2 visible in CC. cbf spriting now :)

Bah a multi-part foot and I don't like box foots, they're inflexible for rocky terrain, and makes running... Hard. And these are geared for more humanoid robots.

That foot concept is neat, I'll save a copy of it for myself. :lol:
Although aesthetically Image suit it much better. I'd use that foot if I were you.

The new MARS looks much more cool now, however it also looks less scary and seems shorter. The thing that was so cool about the old MARS is that it was ugly and scary like a frankenstein monster. This is what made it fun to fight against.

it can be made scarey with attachables. also shook, maybe some little spike-studs in places would be cool, just to make it more badass. if they were AEmitters that hurt people that would be even cooler, though laggy.
it would be nice if it had like, a core reactor inside it as an attachable with some horrendous gibs and a slaughtering breakwound, or at least some decent weak points. i like that in my giant mechas, somewhere to target.
