Well, now that this pack is done with, all that's left to revise is the Green Storm. They'll be given a fresh coat of paint and a story just like I did with these guys, and then, bada-bing bada-boom - I'm working on the Trade Star pack.

I really like the look of the robot, especially the mask, but I gotta say, as it is, I'll never use it. It's so so so fragile that any sort of bump causes it damage, I have yet to order one that didn't get damaged as it dropped from the dropship. Beyond that, the thing of being unable to aim very far up or down is neat in concept (rusted joints and all) but in game it's such a severe limitation that I couldn't really deal with it. The jet pack cool too, though trying to fly backward is rather dangerous and ends in flips most of the time.

Really though, as it is, it's just not worth buying; it's only 15 less then a normal bot and significantly weaker.

Seeing this ronin robot and the revenant, you DO like intentional design flaws, don't you?

The robot's face is freaking cool. Though I wanna ask why does it wear a mask? To hide the fact that it's an illegally salvaged item? Anyway, it's as rag tag as it can get, small aim arc (now it's just right), excessive jetpack exhaust and dirt cheap price. I fancy this kind of throw-away unit a lot.

Tough I would say the excessive exhaust is a little too excessive, need to rebalance the proportion of flames and smoke. More smoke, less flame.

And thanks for moving the airstrike designator to the Guns tab.

ah this is pretty much perfect. Before it was more fragile then flesh and blood, which is pretty silly really. Now it's reasonable tough. Arc range is much better now too, before it made it nearly impossible in a lot of situations, now it's only a hindrance in a few.

Personally I really like the jetpack, it's got a great feel to it if you ask me. Reminds me of the carbotech jetpacks, which are my favorite.

Hey great mod!

Just one problem it fails whenever I start it up Abortion in file /Users/admin/Development/CortexCommand/cortex/System/ContentFile.cppLine 557, because:

Failed to load datafile object with following path and name:

RedLoki.rte/DS/DSsprite000

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'

I fixed it in mine then this happened

Abortion in file /Users/admin/Development/CortexCommand/cortex/System/ContentFile.cppLine 534, because:

Reffering to an instance ('DSsmall') to copy from that hasn't been defined! in RedLoki.rte/AC/AC.ini at line 204!

The last frame blah blah blah...

Then it failed again and said

Abortion in ....blah...blah...blah... Because:

Refering to an instance ('DSspecial') to copy from that hasn't been defined! in RedLoki.rte/NG/NG.ini at line 201

The last blah blah blah has been dumped to blah blah blah...

Thats all, I would like to see the fixed version of these because the ones that work are excellent!

Well that's certainly odd. If you're not the only one to experience that, you're certainly the most vocal one (thank you for telling me, I'll see what the issue is). However, it seems more likely that you are the only one to have that problem - you appear to be having some weird basic issues, because all those items that it's listing are actually there and your CC isn't seeing them.
Try a fresh install of either the mod or CC or both - you never know. I'll take a peeksy after I set up the grand launch.
