ok... am i just dumb or is there something wrong with my Audacity? whenever i try to load up a music file, all that it comes out as is a high pitched screeching noise. whats wrong

Zalo or anybody else do you know if this can be used to record 2 times over the same file , so what i want to do is first punch in the baseline , end song , also i think you forgot to mention in the OP that you end the song recording with X key.
then do the melodie the second time the recorder runs the song.
