I just added a few bug fixes is all.You saved this thread from turning into a huge fireball, thanks Kyred. But really, credit the right people guys, I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets pissed off when they work their ass off and don't get credit for it.

   |   Re: Grappling GunDunno if this is known or not, and it's not really a big bug or anything, but when you attach yourself to a craft, and you move the craft, the grapple wire goes buggy and sends the actor flying :3

   |   Re: Grappling GunThe craft-grapple issue is funny though, because it allows you to spin bodies around the craft, accelerating to insane speeds before the rope (or many ropes) breaks. It's is pretty fun to bludgeon things to death with a chunk of gib.If you want to stop your actor from flying though, open the doors very briefly, this slows the actor down, then you can keep him flying for a long time.

   |   Re: Grappling GunI got an actor to hang from a dropship engine on tutorial bunker, but when I went to attack his gun was destroyed, so he used the grappling gun to attach himself to the ground, with interesting results...

   |   Re: Grappling GunIs there any chance that you can set the X and Y coordiantes as opposed to setting the velocity? That would solve the problem where it spazzes out.

   |   Re: Grappling GunNot really, if you could convert velocity to pos change then maybe, and even then it won't do anything useful and phase through actors.

   |   Re: Grappling GunEmm just a suggestion, can you make the cord makes smaller and bigger with keys?
Something like, "when you press Z cord will make bigger and pressing X key cord makes smaller"
for regulating the preasure of the link and it will allow all kind of tricky situations...

   |   Re: Grappling Guni love ESL posts.maybe convert the pull from velocity to impulses. that would be more realistic and prevent spazzing out. worst comes to worst, whatever its attached to gets gibbed. though the engine kinda handles impulses wierdly, so it would be hard to get a good balance of pulls-actors : doesnt-splatter-actors. but it would be more realistic if you could get it to work.

   |   Re: Grappling GunCould anyone tell me why this causes it to crash for me? It keeps crashing when either the user of the grappling gun or the actor it's attached to dies. Does it have to do with my using a mac? Is it just MY computer? It does that for alot of these other mods such as the hoverboards and the electric boomerang.
