These tweaks are spot on. The Mars is still a tanking threat but it isn't completely invincible now, and heavy ordnance is dangerous for it to get hit by. It makes me cautious about letting it die because of the price so I often get it out of the fight if I can and have a ship take it back for some cash. I also still love how the MARS stops its bleeding after a while because now it actually matters if you want that cash return and you're taking a lot of hits. I tried fighting against Crobo activities with the Pelians and it was pretty intense. MARS can still rape well because it can carry those huge powerful weapons and take out multiple foes, but now you have to be careful not to let anything with a rocket launcher live long enough to shoot at you, and you have to tone down how often you use that cannon because its explosion can really hurt you now.

I've been playing whith pelians for long looong time and I like 'em a lot. They have pretty unique style. And that long time me and my friends keep saying how bulky and bit stupid the M.A.R.S'es mouth looks. It look's bit better after the sprite update but still.. And the new weapons from the update looks like.. ermm.. not so P.A. stylish and I think are not functioning very well in combat. Sure they must bee heavy WIPBut still I love P.A. becorse it's functionality. And they are just simply fun to play. Keep it up!

Could you make an un-nerfed file. I like the pelians at their current strength, but I want the new gun. Apart from that complaint, this mod was great back in B20, and is STILL awesome today.

the sprites on the MARS still annoy me.. i think its just its head, its ugly as a peeled fish glued to a pug dog. but your sexy coding makes it a little better..

Haha, making a huge robot that looks cool AND is very functional is like a dream to me. =P (Honestly, while i can make half-decent sprites at small scale, big sprites are usually no-no, looking away from the rocket) @Orglar: I have no idea, to be honest. If the file is there and all... @pieman280: Well, their toughness as of now is the official level, but i suppose i could quickly throw the gun into the old file that i saved, just for occasions like this. @Phatmonkey: Awesome! Note, i only addressed the posts i felt needed my attention, but do not worry, i have read all your other posts.

hey i got this error and i'm wondering what to type in the index of do with the actual bmp because i really want this mod but i get this error message on the loading Abortion in file /Users/admin/Development/CortexCommand/cortex/System/ContentFile.cpp, line 549, because:

Have you tried re-downloading the file? If you messed with the .RTE or something, go ahead and say it so we can help you out- I don't get that error, no one else seems to either. Maybe your download was corrupted or something.

It means what it says: CC couldn't find that file to load when a line in one of the .ini files asked nicely for it. So either 1) the .ini file is wrong (highly unlikely) or 2) the file is missing from the expected location (more plausible for a variety of reasons)
or 3) Some weird Mac specific problem nobody here knows about.

the bmp file for the antenna is definitely there under the images folder which is in the M.A.R.S folder so why cant it recognize it?

ok so the game is looking for the image under file M.A.R.S. including the final period but the file has no period at the end shuld i add one to the title or edit all the filepaths? :edit: lol i just solved it by replacing the "M.A.R.S." to one with out the period at the end thanks for all the help though! why did it do that though?
