hmm... weapons... how about... more explosives would be good for this faction, but they would need to be original. maximdude has a good grenade idea, see if you can work on that, along with normal exposives, however make sure they dont rape land. i hate rape.

I was thinking about some more explosives, maybe some DS bombs too.

For the brainbot, you can try adding communication arrays onto its head or jetpack. I don't think a flag may work as good. Maybe sort of a beam or hologram flag.
For weapons, I suggest a machine pistol firing blue projectiles. Also, a close range electric baton. Not new or anything, just thought they'd look good on them.

What i was thinking was maybe one pistol, one smg and one melee weapon. stun batons are too humans-turned-aliens-ish so maybe i'll make it a knife? Or refurbish the DarkLance?

i DO know what you mean, that good which fires homing bullets and a very fast rate, and also remembers where to send bullets so you dont have to aim, and also fires grenades and yat another "also" doubles as a high exposive bomb.

Meh... Dont really like it. No offense. I just didn't like the characters that much, so no DL'ing from me.

IronZombie wrote: no DL'ing Then your opinion is illegitimate; as it's not been formed fully nor fairly. And your post is a useless belittling toward the author. Download a mod before replying in its thread to say you don't like it. And after expressing that opinion, explain how you believe it could be improved to be more to your liking. If someone won't do this, then they shouldn't reply to a mod release topic to say they don't like it and no DL, because they haven't given it a chance and don't have a full opinion developed. It's like sending a letter to an author, saying you didn't like their book's cover and therefore they have written the book poorly. That having been said... Nivos Corp is pretty good. It has good spriting, but their silvery metal/blue lights theme isn't terribly new or interesting, and their spriting style doesn't fit perfectly with Prom's vanilla sprites. The laser carbine is balanced, but uninteresting; it's basically a dummy blaster in Nivos silver/blue. The grenade launcher seems to be inconsistent between it's impact modes, sometimes it bounces around, sometimes it pins it place, but the remote detonator is awesome. The sniper is like the carbine, balanced, but lacking in uniquity and interest. There is a lack of a sidearm. The trooper variants are somewhat unnecessary. They would be better if they were significantly diversified in appearance. The actors should have their own custom jetpacks. Quite simply, I'm sick of seeing yellow MOPixels with trails flying out everyone's rear. Overall, it's another faction of shiny robots, a fairly good one. Also GET THAT CRAP OUT OF THE TITLE ....\\\|||///,,,,,;;;;::::(((([[[[{{{{hurf durf do i have your attention this really looks nice in the index dont it}}}}]]]]))))::::;;;;,,,,,\\\|||///.....

Azukki wrote: Lol Azukki wrote hell of a lot of text here I was thinking of remaking the whole mod, give it a new image. Or just make a new one as a sucessor to NC. Also got rid of that thing in the title. EDIT: The remade mod would be sort of a combination between Nivos Corp. and Dark Devices inc. (Old b22 mod, still good tho.)

Re: Nivos Corp.
Thanks, only problem now is that it's kind of unorganized, the actors and weapons that is, not the sprites.
In the next update (maybe now, maybe later) say goodbye to presets and hello to droppod (with thrusters of course, for all your spec-opsish needs).
