Re: Solace Inc./Midas (update 12/26)
Midas does not seem to work on the Mac version. Edit: Solace Inc is having problems too.

Re: Solace Inc./Midas (update 1/5)
Update! Added to Solace Inc the Plasma Torch, Grav Dust, Avalanche Launcher, Multiball Launcher, Staff Weapon (credit to BEANME for the origional), and reworked the Gravity Gun so, well, it works now.

Re: Solace Inc./Midas (update 1/5)
OOO, looks nice. This and CaveCriket's mini mods never disappoint us. Now if you would excuse me, I've got some new weapons to test out *Open CC*
EDIT: Just tested it out. The avalanche gun is fun! However it seems like extensive snow fall more than an avalanche, but still, the concept is good, though it may use some more epic effects (as long as it doesn't lag your comp). And I think the range of the laser torch can be even shorter, unless it's meant to be so pwning. All the other weapons are cool too. But the gravity gun only works at one particular distance, making it a pain in the neck to use. Widen the area of effect, or maybe simply make a line of area of effect?

Re: Solace Inc./Midas (update 1/5)
I'll go with TDS, you should widen the area effect on the grav gun. Like twice as big or something. The grav dust is pretty much exactly the same as some other mod that was done before called 'physanium' and it is very crashy. The other weapons, I have no problem with and they're really fun. Nice work!

Re: Solace Inc./Midas (update 1/5)
You're right, the range of the torch could be smaller... which means rebalancing the speed and sharpness of 12 particles. Oh well. I'd like to make the Avalanche thicker, but it already lags a bit on my comp, so the only thing I could do is add more particles... any suggestions on what? The Gravity Gun had to be toned down sharply to avoid pwning anything that moved... and while I could widen the area of effect, that means it also has to be centered farther away from the actor holding it, so you don't get sucked in and thrown across the map at high speeds. The Grav Dust... I made sure it doesn't evaporate terrain like the Physnium, and it's never crashed my game. What errors are you getting?

Something about not being able to read something else. I tried some more and it didn't happen again. :/

Re: Solace Inc./Midas (update 1/5)
Good it was just a one time thing. ^^ Finished some of the tweaks people wanted, gonna make a few new guns before updating though. Anyone got any opinions of what new objects the avalanche should emit to make it rain harder? I was thinking of just giving it large snowballs, as much as it wouldn't really make sense...

Re: Solace Inc./Midas (update 1/5)
I was thinking about large snow chunks too.
Or maybe, the projectile lands somewhere, acts as a beacon, then a huge pile of snow(balls, chunks, or particles whatever) falls right at the spot and makes a little hill of snow. That would look more like an avalanche. And keep the current avalanche gun but rename it snowstorm gun.

Re: Solace Inc./Midas (update 1/6)
Updated! Fixed all the problems people had; torch has a shorter range, avalanche drops chunks of stuff, multiballs last longer, and since the Gravity Gun is seen as too weak, I reenabled the Black Hole Gun! It's the pwnful version I mentioned the Gravity Gun being nerfed from.
Also I added a SuiCrab Launcher (also you can buy SuiCrabs and control them directly), and a prototype Hover Drone. This is literally a prototype, it currently does nothing useful, but it does hover, and I plan to do things with things that over next.

The new gravity gun is perfect now. And the blackhole gun is dangerous to use, always got actor gibs flying at you at 100m/s, but it's fun.

Re: Midas
Ok, this thread is now entirely about the Midas pack, mostly because I really can't think of anything to add with it. So about 80% sure this is now done. Added a golden Shotgun, AK-47, James-Bond Golden Gun, and finally an entire actor of gold!
