Well, I've been told the Barrett needs a punch, as well as the AI AWM and PSG-1 I guess. The MSG-90 might as well be silenced. :P

I myself think that most of the sounds are quite weak. I'll get some sounds from Project Reality, they're sharper, more cracky and less paffy.

It's quite a large file, I need somewhere I can upload it.

I'm toying with the code of the RPG-27, LAW, and the M79 for Gotcha. Anyone have any ideas/improvements that could be made?

I was thinking the RPG should fire the regular thermobaric warhead it's equipped with, and maybe turn the LAW into the SMAW. The M79 will be getting a better sprite as well.

i really like this mod. the best actor/weapon mod so far.
1. Is there by any chance a update is planned?
2. Could you tweak your actors (especially living ones) to match coalition solders a bit more
i dont really like them being able to take 10-15 shots in the head
3. Could you make MedPack? itäs the only missing thing in my mod compilation (uni tek with no system shock or doom stuff etc. few base defence stuff and mappack 3)

Thank you for such great mod

Hiya,

1. I'll be updating it whenever I can, although most changes will happen in the sprite department. For example, the actors will need different heads and helmets.
2. That's a no-go I'm afraid. The most important reason for these actors' existence is that the coalition soldiers die too quickly for my own taste. :)
But even the UniTec soldiers die pretty quick when repeatedly hit in the head.
3. One day I hope to, but at the moment there's not any possibility to make a medkit that works without crashing CC (as far as I know).
The medic guy will hopefully be able to heal other actors at one point, with an endless supply of medkits. And if future updates allows it, all other soldiers will have some sort of timed special attack. (Recon can call in artillery, Commando carries C4, Night Ops being temporary invisible, dunno, that sort of stuff.)
