Are you using Cortex Build 21? The stickiness quality was just added in the build, so it probably wouldn't work with any older builds.

Amgz.
I love DSTech but, is there anyway to use this in Build 20?
Like remove the stickiness quality? Or something?
Edit: Disregard above post, I've just noticed how stupid it is.

Why wouldn't you be using build 21?
Sorry for regarding your post, but I'd really like to know.

For one it's pretty ♥♥♥♥ laggy.
Well that's why i don't play CC anymore.

Well that's why i don't play CC anymore. The Current Build has a Slo-Mo feature, when nearby threats, game time slows down.

I'd say the new build runs a lot faster on my PC, also can't you disable slo-mo with ctrl+o?

Re: DSTech Corp (UPDATED: 8/23/08)
Only happened to me when I knocked a dropship out of midair, crushing enemies on the ground, and in the dropship, as well as hitting myself with a large, but non fatal piece of wreckage. I don't think it is lag.

Re: DSTech Corp (UPDATED: 8/23/08)
Very nice. I've been using this for a while and thought I'd drop by to throw my compliments in. Also, just had a pretty epic moment on base defense. Got a Ferratus with the Fist and Laser Rifle on defense, been downing dropships for the last while (up to about 350 kills at that point). I spot a heavily wounded (20-30 HP left) coalition trooper lying amongst some debris and march the Ferratus up to the poor guy, who is making a half-assed effort to fend off the Ferratus with naught but a measly pistol. Anyway, Ferratus is marching up to the guy, pistol rounds pinging off it's armour and just PUNCHES the guy in the face with the Fist. Sadly, it didn't do that whilst under AI control, but still. I like a lot of the weapons, particularly the AC. I think it would be beneficial if there were a few more offhand weapons to go with the segment shield (the current selection of offhand weapons is rather odd to say the least) and perhaps a slightly more compact drop pod. Other than that, 10/10.

And disabling slow mo is pretty glitchy, you have to use 1-2 to adjust the speed, because as soon as you disable smoothing the game's going super fast. At first i hated smoothing, but now slow mo is like an automatic quick time event that locks you into battle. For me at least, when baddies show up, the game automatically slows down. It doesn't seem to really make the game any easier (well, if you didn't suck in the first place) maybe even harder, but that could just be me. It does help you appreciate your destruction, because the game isn't so fast paced now you can't admire a dropship exploding then crumbling to the ground.

Re: DSTech Corp (UPDATED: 8/23/08)
I was messing around with some of the weapons and decided to make a couple of gifs for the hell of it, just because the idea of an Imperator marching around with dual miniguns was kinda epic/awesome/whatever. Ed: I'm feeling generous, so if you ask nicely, I might take a crack at making some gifs of the weapons. #1; Dual Minigun vs Dropship #2; Dual Minigun vs a hapless, though not entirely helpless, Crobo Tech Heavy (oopth)
