If things go well during in school testing when I have access to actually decent computers, then I will release as early as November 6 (unfortunately its not possible for me to recieve Halo 4 quickly due to shipping, or get it on the release date cause im not 17 yet).

Im not confident enough in the numbers for the new recoil script i've implemented (done by DudeAbides) and there are some balance issues with the flamethrower I want to correct.

Don't sweat it, we've waited like a month, we can wait a few more days. Release it when its ready and you're satisfied with it!

That said, I've been checking every day, definitely looking forward to this update.

I kindof feel sorry for these long waits :oops: i'll do my best to try to catch up, cause halo 4 is going to add a whole bunch of new things!

You guys can expect something this week!

EDIT: You can expect the update tomorrow, 6PM eastern time (or whatever NY uses)!
However I think I can expect a lot of interesting feedback, and I have to get busy with Halo 4 weapon update (will release ASAP along with quick changes from feedback)

I also predict lots of requests for Covenant and Forerunner sister factions. I have already started Covenant but to be honest, making new visual effects is kindof complicated and depending on how much time I have to spend, you can expect at the least Weapon packs for each faction later more than sooner.

i think forerunner would be super cooler than cov.


you could even have a game mode of MC vs forerunner bots and stuff

I think they're both equally cool though Forerunner definitely is extremely cool right now (Covenant is still good cause they got a sweet visual upgrade and some new guns [i still verily detest the fuel rod gun though])

That game type would require making Forerunner people and dang it they're hard. The Lancer Knights can freekin teleport. + they can single handedly wield 2 handed guns, while having a blade in the left arm D:<.

I might revive Firefight mode with some scenes with such, but the tutorials for them are confusing and actors come first in any case anyways. Maybe will even attempt to replicate the campaign and spartan ops if I ever get the hang of scenes, most levels are 1 direction, so a non x wrapping complicated looking map would do it. i think.

ok then, which do you guys think is more fun, shooting grunts or crawlers? elites (shields) or knights (non-teleporty, unless somebody can help with that)?

I think Covenant should come first, just because they're the classic enemy in Halo and just feel a little more central to the game for me. I dunno. It might be easier to code them as well it sounds like so it might be more time efficient. Prometheans are sweet too, but I don't mind waiting for them either.

Start with the Covenant. They would require less intensive sprite work, and don't have any complex mechanics like the Forerunners do, besides a shield system that you already have working.

ok really bad new is that I freekin left the buttsack of a USb in my school computer and I didn't notice until I got home :x :x :x :x

I foolishly did not back up anything yesterday, so I have to go find it tomorrow (hope I can :x )

I feel so bad right now god dammit

EDIT: HAHA YES FOUND IT!! OK sorry for the one day delay but I promise you that there WILL be an update, unless I forget the USB in the computer lab AGAIN, which will not happen (and if it does it does not matter because I am backing up the files right fuqing now)
