thought the pelians were slightly biased against energy weapons, and would prefer a rocket/explosive turret?

Turrets aren't biased? :| But truth be told, i just can't be assed to make an explosive turret right now. Maybe some time later, but not right now. OR CAN I? *Dun dun duuuuuuuun* Maybe i should scratch out the previous scratching and make a sixth turret anyways!

Everything in this modkit works stunningly, lots of fun.
The M.A.R.S. system crashes the dropship/rocket most of the time though, sadly.

Oh snap, still need to figure out a proper way of delivering a MARS... I suppose i could make it so you could order it to jetpack down directly, much like the AI currently has it... If that made any sense at all. It would be better if i made a dropship/rocket, but it can and will end up looking fugly. @10050: Which is why i'm making it afterall :3 The light turret is going to fire a dimmed down edition of the Abolishers rocket at a higher rate than said weapon, so there won't be excessive terrain damage, and the heavy turret is going to fire a motherf***er of a rocket that isn't too far away from the MARS' Mega Cannon in terms of power, but also at a very low rate of fire, so you won't be destroying everything. Pretty much.

Added bonus of squashing everything under it too.

Good idea (Can't argue with squashing, that's for sure) I should probably make it so it always gibs a MARS, to discourage it to be used for other purposes. The current teleporting system works fine for smaller units, so i don't need to rush out with a drop ship or rocket. Maybe i should even label the droppod "Canned MARS" xP

Y HALO THAR FOLKS I HERD U LIEK UPDAETS. The only things added are a metric ♥♥♥♥ of turrets, but hey, it actually took me a while to make them. Also, mandatory gif of Heavy Flame Turret in action... It's a slightly outdated gif, but hey, it still looks great IMO. If you think it looks too overpowered, think again, because you can easily pick it off with a longer ranged weapon. Like the Puncher. But if you are within its range, don't expect to live long.

Hmm, I suddenly have this craving for tomato soup... Canned Mars? I didn't know that recipe yet. I recently learned the recipe for fried Mars; Anyway, on-topic, keep it up! (And I hope you find the time to make them a little weaker so I can fight them! )

Well, I have been playing with these guys for quite a while and never bothered too post. Here's a review, This army is awesome, its made very well, there is a noticeable difference between every unit (they aint the same guy with a different sprite) the light is fast weak and has a powerful jet pack, the heavy is slow and very powerful, and the med is a balance between the two. The new turrets are awesome, the make big awesome explosions, and look just great. The stuff I felt make this army worse are the weapon names, every weapon has a name and description, this makes the buy menu look weird and cluttered, To fix this just get rid of the descriptions. Another bad thing is the way the turrets are buy able out side the BYOB phase this, once again, clutters the menu, too fix this give them BuyAble = 0 and make invisible modules with the turrets as their children. All in all I think this is a great army and can serve as a benchmark for others, the sprites aren't the best but they ain't everything, Keep up the good work Shook!

Which descriptions? The "Quoted" names or the name thereafter? (Like ASRIF or whatever) Roon3 wrote: Another bad thing is the way the turrets are buy able out side the BYOB phase this, once again, clutters the menu, too fix this give them BuyAble = 0 and make invisible modules with the turrets as their children. Yeah, true. I'm going to do it at some point, but i wish there was some other way, because i like the fact that you can see an icon of the turret in the BYOB phase. Thanks for the review, much appreciated @Gotcha!: Oh it's quite simple, really. You just take a Mars bar, cram it full of conservatives and stuff it into a can... Also, i might make the heavier stuff just weak enough for them to be able to feel the AK-47 at some point And remember folks, reviews help me make you happy!

In honor of the fried M.A.R.S. bar, we need a deep fryer bunker module. If Lua could be attached to bunker modules, that would be perfect, but we'd need a special map to do it now...

Take the quoted names out of the quotes and and get rid ASRIF stuff. also if you have problems texturing sprites try adding a lot of detail like this: It makes the sprite look better and less boring. (thats an out line for some sprite I made a while ago)
