Personally I'd remove the healing ability. It's what makes the tank practically indestructible, as any work the AI manages to do while the sheild is down is removed within a few seconds. Even without healing it's ridiculously strong anyway.
Panels, engines, guns, vulnerable looking components, that box on the back of the turret? could be individually damagable, with consequences for them getting destroyed. Most of all when the tank is finally brought down it should have a far better death than it does currently. Needs to leave a flaming corpse, throw some gibs, etc. I'm thinking it should gib into a flaming corpse which drops to the ground and explodes after a few seconds. - I could do that part if you want me to <3


After this, maybe you can start a small tank variant and make a skirmish for this. I would absolutely love it if I could fight against this.

A skirmish against some sort of light tank would be cool, but I don't think fighting the current version would be much fun. In my experience almost all weapons basically just bounce off the tank and the rest simply tear it to shreds, so the tank will either roll over anything you put in front of it or it will be destroyed as soon as you get some effective weapons to the fight.

Which is why we have to be creative.
Its sort of like this: In real life, if you faced off against an abrams tank with fishing wire, a spoon, and a handgun, how would you kill the tank.

But yea, a light tank is a better idea, or this tank without invincibility.

This mod's previous version contained a "virus" (a big harmless joke don't worry).
If you have been infected please replace your base files by the ones located in
Tank.rte/Mission/Weapons/Gibs/scr/o
(don't delete all your files, just those includes in this folder!)
These are the original files (the joke modified these to produce its effect, so this will effectively undo any "damage" the joke has done).

I get after installing on a fresh 25 this:

Abortion in file.\system\contentfile.ccp, line472 because:
Failed to load datafile object with following path and name:
Coalition.rte/Devices/Weapons?grenadeLauncher.wav

How can i fix this??

A lot of paths to resources have changed between B24 and B25, and if you installed B25 over B24 you end up with legacy file redundancies that make it look like the mod is compatible with B25, but with a clean install the mod kicks back an RTE Abort as it is unable to find the many files where they used to be.

Found some Coalition and Dummy sound dependencies which are now in the /Effects/Sounds/ directories of their respective .rtes as well as some Ronin sprite dependencies which are now in Ronin.rte/Devices/Sprites/.

Perhaps you should rename the AP shell to HEAT, because it's nothing like AP and much more like a HEAT round.
Also, add real AP that fires a round with sharpness and weight, balanced out to penetrate armor and destroy ♥♥♥♥.

I didn't notice that, sorry, could you test this and tell me if it works with b25?:

You're right, I called them Armor Piercing because they're designed to pierce armor, but HEAT is more accurate, I corrected it in the b25 version.

i tryed it again with a clean 25 but i gives me an other error:
Coalition.rte/devices/weapons/shotpistolblam.wav

Edit: i installed 25 over 24 and now it works so just do that.

I did test it, that is why I was able to explain the problem and that it was both sounds and sprites.

Still not working with a clean B25 install.
Looks like you updated the paths for the sounds but not the sprites in Ronin.rte I mentioned.

You really should not do that, as I mentioned it leaves redundant files in your directory and fakes compatibility between mod versions. Meaning it makes your game directory take up more space (which with the size of HDDs these days is not terrible), but most importantly it causes mod development confusion.
