lol, i really like your satisfied customer list, but maybe quote them? Replying to manbearpig, if you want i can throw together a 3 door dropship. Unfortunately, i won't be able to add more destructible doors, unless of course, it is a 2 door ds, we'll see.
p.s Yoman, keep on truckin.

The ramps are a good addition, but the actual angles, where you actually did your own spriting, look horribly inconsistent with the rest of the module. Add more noise to the colors used there to help them blend in a little more and I think it'll look perfect.

You could make an elevator version of this with your large shaft module. That would be a nice project to try out. This sounds doable, maybe I could make them as doors? Hmmm, but don't doors screw around with actors while they are moving? I'll look into it. This sounds like it would need some Lua to work properly though. Manbearpig wrote: i would need a dropship that cant drop off more soldiers in 1 time and not actually killing them by laying them over each other. Uuhmm, a dropship with a drop-delay? I think I know how to do that, but it might take a while, and would probably just be a nice-looking resprite. LowestFormOfWit wrote: ...where you actually did your own spriting... Nope! Everything is copied in some form from something else in Base.rte. See the slope in the Rocket Silo? Same deal. But: LowestFormOfWit wrote: Add more noise to the colors used there to help them blend in a little more... I can do that. Update coming tonight

It's really the gray floor slope that stands out. Maybe make the incline less steep? It seems too sharp to me, even if it is from the Rocket Silo, as I also rendered my own version of that which took out the ramp (and any asymmetric pieces altogether), so it's no surprise I don't like it. I still want to see your take on a cool Brain Vault.

My request is moron traps, for when you just want have fun blasting the crap out of stuff, but dont want to have to pay attention to those arsewipes with diggers ruining you base, and since re-creating ingenious traps is a pain. I was hoping for Lfow to actually release his fishbowl *Hint Hint* but if you could make some anti-AI traps, that would be great!

Yeah, I can whip up the fishbowl again. I've only been putting it off because I wanted it to look like a legit fishbowl, that comes with a fish food dispenser that you can trigger to drop live grenades into the mix when you're tank is too full or you're feeling cheeky.

Re: *WIP* End-User Research V1.2 (Requests accepted)
So I'll change the slope a bit and make a Brain Vault. EDIT: and make a few simple traps I was also thinking of making some crawl-spaces (not neccessarily the same as vents) that are integrated into the basic corridors. eg: vent above vanilla corridor vent below vanilla corridor vanilla left-up corner with a crawl-space coming off it etc i wanted them to look like really short/thin vanilla corridors

Re: *WIP* End-User Research V1.2 (Requests accepted)
More ideas:
1. Make more headroom by 1-2 squares higher so there is more space between the ceiling and the floor. Not BIG hallways but just slightly bigger so people can use jet packs easier.
2. A trap that looks like a vanilla hallway except that any enemy that steps under/over it will fall int a trapdoor with acid or something
3. Building upon my previous suggestion, a hallway module that has those conveyor belt things. You know, the things at airports. They are like escalators except on flat ground. I feel kind of stupid for forgetting what they are called. Anyways, you could make that into a long hallway module. Btw, I think my elevator idea is going to need a lot of lua
Also on your "vent" idea, You could make the width of the concrete thicker so accomodate the crawling space. So basically the vanilla hallways would just be/have extra thick concrete.

They're called travelators, and barely anyone really needs to know that - so you don't have to feel stupid.

Re: *WIP* End-User Research V1.2 (Requests accepted)
@LeonXross 1. Already exists, and in the same style as I would do them. Sorry, you'll just have to get it from another mod. 2. Agreed, except not acid. I was thinking lasers, or maybe just squishing or instagibbing. Or maybe it's just a hole. See below. 3. Like I said: Yoman987 wrote: I do not code much further than to make a basic digger or shield.
So I could sprite it, sure, but it would be handed over to someone else for the lua, then i would just package and release it. Credited, of course.

What is the fishbowl? I've seen it referenced numerous times, but haven't been able to figure out what it is.

The fishbowl is an enclosed space with those conveyers in a circle, so that all these actors go around and around. theres also a teleporter in there somewhere, so that the actors can get in (but not out)
i think.
