Well, the whole "god/spirit" thing is kinda assumed for all my units. If I wanted to be particularly epic with the naming I'd just call it Genbu. And I guess considering that Raiju and Yatagarasu are named after specific entities (even though I typically try to stick to more general types of entities, like Tengu and Oni), Genbu might not be a terrible option.

While this is pretty fun, I realized a couple weapons were missing, about three or so, so I decided to go dig up my old folder and convert my old version to build 23. The only thing edited from how I got it is that the energy blade has infinite ammo now, instead of 50 or so.

And it would be pretty cool if it could be ridden on or in somehow, like a land craft APC deal. Maybe I could just attach a craft to it with lua... actually, that'd probably work. Neat.
As for the armaments, there'd probably be a main cannon, which could potentially relive the old railgun (which I still have sitting around and just need to convert), or maybe some kind of artillery piece. Or maybe there'd be the option for one or the other.
Then of course there'd probably be gatling weapon options similar to the Shishi, for dealing with smaller threats.
The last issue would be giving it decent mobility.

Choices would probably be something like: -Railgun -Heavy Artillery -Nuclear Pumped Laser -Nuclear Pumped Electrolaser ... seriously, I've been wanting to make a huge nuclear pumped laser since forever. Imagine a laser powered by a nuclear explosion contained within a relatively small chamber. It'd basically be a huge nuclear version of the flux compression generators that the smaller lasers use. Kaboom. Really, this could probably power the railgun too.

I doubt nuclear pumped lasers would be ideal in a scenario the size of a normal CC map.

(not the movie, the american nuclear defense shield idea, which considered the idea of nuke-pumped anti missile turrets)

Well, to be honest I find the lack of more electric-based weapons in a DarkSTORM mod peculiar. I've loved all incarnations of the SHOCK mortar myself, and don't find a huge lightning gun too far fetched.
