Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. PC and xbox. My favorite 3rd person shooter. That gun is supposed to be mounted on a mech, but the game allows you to remove it and carry around like a large gun, limiting your movement greatly. Actually I'm intending to make the mech too and this gun in full size like its ment to be into my BW mod and add the ability to use it as a vehicle. Anyways I was making some screenshot for future reference yesterday and decided to sprite you a gun based on it. Heres the mech I stole the gun from:

Ultra-mega-zawesome mod. Just perfect. For greater details, check the post I made in the mod making section. ( I hadn't noticed that the mod had already been released ) Also, Numgun, you are gonna make the PTX-140 from Lost Planet? Along with the EM laser? Heck, if you manage to do that, I'll have to start worshipping you as a demigod. ( can't worship you as a god, 'cause Data already has that job. ) Also, why not make a full Lost Planet mod? [ /prettyplease? ] EDIT: Also, how come you thought of the EM laser? I suggested the same weapon as a base in the mod making thread five minutes ago!

Heres a secret for making it shoot super death ray. order the particle beam cannon, then stand a safe distance away and suck THOSE particles up, i got an instant win on teh first level.

That laser is just too big. It would look retarded in CC, covering up the user as well as most things nearby.

It should be like applying gravity or velocity to the particles... if you want more gravity without messing with particle properties heaps then just have the velocity (<whatever was here before>x5,<whatever was here before>x5) or if it's running a function then run it several times.

Nice mod, but it crashed when the gun was destroyed (by debris from my the last shot) while I was still charging it.

Guys, try this out: I did some tweaking based on the version 1.0 and redid the whole weapon. New sprites, effects and (maybe, probably) better code. And sounds.
