I'm basically finished with the grenade, and i'm working on a oil cannon, the oil acts like a highly flammable mine. When you walk on the oil it explodes, etc.

Looks really nice. Could be a great start for an oil-based faction. It'd be interesting to see some oil drill/platform styled bunker modules. Maybe flaming oil-spewing drilling towers like acting as guard towers, or even better, a mission where the player must assault an oil platform out in the ocean(the water would just have to be background, with the oil platform being the only terrain for the player to operate on--if you fall into the "water" it's just empty space and you fall to your death) and destroy the brain unit(which could be a drilling control panel or something, I dunno) I think this has a lot of potential!

Yeah, I have to work on missions and making modules, I haven't made many modules, but I can try. I'd prefer to make most of the units before I make missions.
update after I sort out some pictures.
some of the "plot" is that the oil is from the planet *blank*.
no planet name idea yet. any suggestions?

I just had a neat idea for this faction: A walking suicidal cluster bomb bot, that also is very cheap. What you could maby do with him is walk him into the enemy bunker, and have him suicide to blow the guards to bits, or maby store him inside a crate, and let him pop out onto an enemy unit for lulz .

If you make an oil derrick, be sure to have it shoot gold at itself every so often so that it will collect funds for you. Just add an emitter which spits out gold to somewhere on its body.

Make a shotgun that fires little blobs of flaming oil. Would be fun for use against the Ronins. They are apparently the new skellies.

I have an smg, I will have a shotgun, and I'll make a rifle.

yeah, I need to start thinking about modules, I'm way farther into the faction than you think. here's the list: Normal actor (rou) Fast Explosive actor Armored actor Dual pistols (yes, the obs are now dual weildable.) SMG Shotgun Dropship Rocket (yes, roil) Grenade (tog) Grenade sprayer (obc)
So, out of those, you guys have access to exactly half of it. Yes, I do plan an update soon... a big one. Did most of the magic over the weekend. Probably want a brain next.... By the way, if anyone can make animated gifs, pm me.
