Things i made on the soldiers: Light: Helmet. Medium: Helmet. Heavy: Extra armor plating and helmet. So yeah. He did give me the green light to bug him outside the forum earlier though, so maybe i should try sending him a mail, to see if he feels like it. Katana-esque. Ragdollmaster pretty much said how it's going to work, but how it'll feel is another matter entirely. Personally i'm hoping to make it feel thumpy, and not like, "Bzzzzzzt" as you swing it around 5000 times per minute or something.

Well, i kind of made it because i couldn't remember seeing something like it before But technically, it's just a pinned ACrab with a gun and stuff, put in the Brains menu. Most brains i've seen are more or less defenceless, so i thought "Hey, why not make it fire back?", and there you see the result. As for the axe... Well, i made it allright, but it didn't work as nicely as i hoped, mainly because you tend to destroy (Yes, destroy) yourself with it, due to the very short range. So now i've just gone over to the classic fan of highly sharp particles. It doesn't have a very long range (Even compared to other melee weapons), but if you do nail someone with it, they're as good as dead. (Y hallo thar mr. instagib) But really, think about it. Getting sliced through by a stream of hot plasma will usually kill you, quickly. Also, it can be used in conjunction with a shield, due to its small size, which generally makes your life as an axeman a lot easier. Now i just need to figure whether to give it practically infinite ammo, or have it switch batteries when swung that many times.

Could actually be a good idea, but it kind of ruins the full auto i set it to have (Y'know, keep the button down to keep swinging) It would hardly be a minus though, so i might just do it. P.S. Windows wants to be reinstalled. I won't lose anything CC related though :3

I guess i should just update now, as my beta testers has had a whole week now, and i haven't gotten any response... *COUGHCOUGH* (Not meaning to offend you guys >.>)
NEW SHIZ!: - Plasma Axe, a very powerful, but very short ranged melee weapon. (Yes, i know melee is short range.) - New grenades! Frag and Plasma are totally new, while the Napalm grenade got a new sprite. - Launchers for all the grenades, because i'm awesome like that. - Rebalanced pricings for the actors. (Light 100, Medium 200, Heavy 300, ASR 400, M.A.R.S. 2000)
I have yet to make a sprite for the Singularity Cannon, so you'll have to wait for that. In the mean time, enjoy the update.

Well, downloaded and sat down to have a nice fight, my guys against your guys, but was disappointed quite fast. My UniTec sniper and minigun could not even dent some of these guys, which means vanilla content would mean nothing to these guys. (More mods have this issue, I know.) I hope you'll balance stuff out a bit. It's my opinion that vanilla content should have at least have a teeny weeny bit of a change against anything someone puts in a mod. If everyone follows this principal, fights between custom made factions would be damn fun. Just my handful of coppers.

Heavy Coalition + Flak Cannon = Death and destruction. But yeah, fighting against these guys with vanilla content alone is pretty suicidial. The AK might be able to cope with the light or medium, but the Assault Robot and (Especially) MARS are extremely difficult to deal with. Though one might be able to get the ASR with a Flak Cannon or a rocket suicide, the MARS is likely to resist even the latter. You make a good point, but it's unlikely that i'm going to do it, because if i make the materials weaker than they are now, i'd have to start rebalancing the weapons too, which, as you can imagine, would be a major pain in the ass. Also, i kind of like the fact that these guys are not someone to be messed with >.> (DS Tech would kick their arses though)Remember, they've had a lot of time to develop their shiz, and the overall intelligence of the population is generally higher than that of SEELEH URFLEENGS!!1!!1, so they probably have a good deal more smart heads around. Also, these guys haven't been balanced specifically towards anything. Maybe a bit towards themselves so their own weapons can hurt them, but apart from that, i've just taken off a semi-random number of their material strengths and such. TL;DR: Vanilla can deal with the lighter units, but the tougher ones are almost impossible. Also, chances are that i won't be balancing further in the nearest future, but i'm not excluding it entirely. Maybe i'll get tired of having to fight juggernauts myself
