I thought as much, I was just saying because you were asking for specifics. There's probably something wrong with CC an lua that causes memory leaks, that is only really noticeable with lua-heavy mods like this one.

Definitely. I still haven't figured out what, but there's a tendency toward crashes when any form of Lua is introduced.

I still can't do anything at all about it unless I have specifics on when it's crashing or lagging - what tool do you have out? What are you clicking? What level are you on? Have you changed your DeltaTime at all? I can't just fix things by pushing the "stop crashing" button. I need specifics, or I'm never going to find the bugs. I know. And I told you, it's completely random. I don't have to have anything out in specific, I don't have to be dragging or clicking or even moving the mouse.

Well, there's not much I can do about it, then. I've already gone through the code as much as I can - there isn't anything that causes crashes as far as I can tell, and I don't experience them either. For that reason, I can't fix any bugs happening on your end.

Walk all the way from Canada to his house and try it out. Does it work even after you make 15 turrets?

Yes, it does. This is probably due to my computer. Yours may not be able to process it or may not have enough available memory. Sadly, there's nothing I can do to fix that. It's already using the most efficient methods possible.

Re: The FBM CB 4200 - Now deployable in the field!
I've tried this mod before, and I absolutely loved it. However, when I changed computers, and reinstalled this mod, everything works fine until I go to use it. The mouse does not move from the actual brain/tool. I can play the game, I can use the tools, but I cannot move the mouse. Can anyone help me with this?

is player 4 set to mouse and keyboard?
Cause if its not suggest you read the Op in it's entirety.

Assuming you're using mouse control, yeah, double-check that Player 4 is set to Mouse + Keyboard mode. Otherwise, check your console for any errors and let me know about them.

I like it but to many crashes you have to literally defend this thing or CRASH and all it takes damage i get a crash which is a bit stupid

Are you positive that the crashing happens when this takes damage? I've never heard of that one before.

I love this mod, but yeah, I get the crashes too. I think it is just overwhelming my "elderly" computer with it's awesomeness! I have never changed my deltatime. It works fine on the other newer computer I use. But still, great work! Is this in anyway related to the mods CaveCricket is making? Like the Gmod guns and the Radio thing? He made them after this was made, so did he take your code? His mods are alot more stable. Maybe have a look at his code and see what he did. Still, great mod! Keep it coming with the great stuff!

TLB is the God of Lua, if he can't make this thing more stable, no one can, and since it doesn't use the same code as the GMOD Tools, that would be pointless anyway.

The main difference between this and Cricket's tools are that most of them are only running a script for short bursts. On the other hand, this is always running a script as soon as you spawn it. As well, Cricket's tools are designed to be used as a weapon, usually - this uses a cursor system which is admittedly pretty hacky.

Re: The FBM CB 4200 - Now deployable in the field!
Now I've seen some innovative mods, but this one is incredible. It's brilliant! It looks great, it's easy to use, and it works perfectly!
There's a lot of fun in this mod, so well done you for making this.
Unfortunately, I too get some random slowdown issues... this shouldn't be a problem on a 2.8GHz Dual Core with 4GB of RAM... so I'm not sure what could be causing it.
What I will try doing is disabling my antivirus, and see if that somehow improves performance (which I doubt).
These slowdowns do not occur if the FBM CB 4200 is not placed. Once it is placed, the slowdowns occur randomly, without any semblance of logic or order.
Also, it crashes if I'm using Mouse + Keyboard on Player 1 AND Player 4, and I right click while using the cursor.
There may be something in the fact that I'm using Mouse + Keyboard on P1 and on P4... I'll disable P4's one, and then see.
