Why wouldn't negative mass help? I can get a rocket to bounce around without any weirdness(unless I use the thrusters which telepods don't have) if I fill it with anti mass bombs from the AAL mod.

Well, even if i did give it negative mass, the things it carries will still weigh it down. So if i for example made it have -50 mass, it would still end up around 50+ or something, depending on what you're sending down. The Heavy Soldier, for example, weighs well over 100 kg by himself, and if you give him an Abolisher and a Pounder, then it adds around 50 more kg to the total mass. So i'd have to make it pretty extreme if it should have any effect. Besides, negative mass behaves suprisingly much like ordinary mass.

Very true, shook. Upon trying to create hovering skeletons (by giving their mass a huge minus), I actually ended up with a bunch of cheap units that sink into the ground, instead of simply flying. It would appear that a negative mass of more than a hundred results in actual mass. I tried giving it a higher negative mass though (the orbital Pelian delivery thing), like 80, and it did work. Even though the Pelian heavy was armed with a FMLTR, a MNG and a LSR RFL (totallizing an approximate mass of over 220), the orbital thingy barely sunk through the ground.
Maybe a little more experimentation would lead to conclusions.

Could be, but remember, people like to do the weirdest things when given the possibility, such as loading a MARS(!!!) into it. I'll probably do some experimentation with it once i get home again. And a little side note, today at midnight, i'll be leaving for a two week vacation in the southern France, just so you know that i'll be inactive and unable to work on this in the next two weeks. But who knows, i might actually get some epic ideas while in France

Just give it ridiculously high negative mass. It will still fall normally, it just won't get stuck in the ground.

The MARS shotgun is the best weapon ever.

Quick note: Yes, i am back from France. Came back at saturday at around 4 AM, so i went to sleep immediately, and the next few days i just haven't been assed to post here.
BUT, while i was in France, i had a pretty neat idea for a melee weapon for these guys. And no, it's not a baguette. It's a Plasma Axe. More about it when i pull myself together to actually make it.

Alright, bear with me here... the muzzle flash should be the swing, like the DarkStorm Combat Knife. But here's the catch; it fires a very short-life and invisible TDExplosive that gibs upon impact; instead of making a little high-sharpness bullet hole, you get a huge THWACK and take out a large chunky of metal and/or fleshly parts. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Good idea?

Yeah, just like i explained it to you in Soldat. =P However, it'll be more like, "PFWOUSCH!" than "THWACK!". THWACK! is for a cavemans club, very much like the one you use for hunting. But don't expect it soon, as i'm currently in great need of relieving my bladder. Oh, and i'm lazy.

Speaking of the forbidden, answer your goddamn PM's >:3 The Axe is something I look forward to. There's something satisfying about heavy weapons that feel... thumpy, if you know what I mean. Not like a bullet sprayer, just something that feels like the CRobo's weapons, if you know what I'm talking about. And I think one side-project would be some drones for the army; recon droids like your old copters and big ol defense droids like the DarkStorm Turrets.

Well, i suppose i should make such things if i ever hope for this to become a full faction Also, today i managed to pull myself together to such a degree that i could: 1. Send a mail to Data to have my key reset. 2. Acquire GraphicsGale again, so i can sprite "properly". Now i just need to get myself back into modding again >_> I was going to do a scribble of the axe, but then i realised that i suck at drawing. A lot. So much that your eyeballs would disintegrate.
