These weapons use small armor piercing rounds (basically, small rifle rounds) instead of handgun rounds. So, they should be more piercing, perhaps. If CC was really hardcore, you could make it so the bullets pierce armor better than handgun rounds, but do less damage once they actually hit flesh. Lua, maybe...

Re: UniTec (1.0.1)
A hollowpoint pistol round would create a bigger hole in an unarmored and unclothed human than an armor piercing round of the same caliber. However, the armor piercing round would do exactly what it's supposed to; pierce armor.
Rifle calibers generate massive shock, and have a small entry hole and a giant exit wound. You also can't stop them with pretty much anything besides multiple inch thick steel plate.

Re: UniTec (1.0.1)
I'd love to see that one 40mm grenade launcher with the 6-round drum magazine... can't remember the name, and I probably got the details wrong, but it'd be fun. My only complaint is that the UniTec weapons' color scheme is too busy... I don't like red, blue, and yellow on black. It doesn't really go with any of the vanilla content.

Re: UniTec (1.0.1)
Usually the grenades used by army (M203 underslung on their M4/M16) detonate on impact, so go with that.
EDIT: Do something unique if you do a grenade launcher, like the EX-41 or RG-6.

Don't forget the guns, actors, and ships I forced asked you to make on MSN. We had an agreement!
Oh and, still working on that SKS sprite for you.

Re: UniTec (1.0.2)
New version. Had some time left while waiting for a specific map making something. I hope you like the changes.

Re: UniTec (1.0.2)
Ok, the katana does look like the very old Lightsaber mod. Without the slashing in the back. But hey, another awesome update! EDIT: After enabling cheats, I must say. That reminds me of the angry hand of god.

Re: UniTec (1.0.2)
I love battling against the enemy with just the M.I.A. Also, could you give him gun(maybe some sort of shot) that heals himself, but takes a while to reload? Unless it's impossible to make something that can heal more then once, in which case, give him a limited number of shots.

I'd really like to hear what data has to say about these ideas we have with Lua.

We need a sticky that says "READ THIS BEFORE SAYING "maybe it will be possible with lua"".

NeoSeeker wrote: No, we just need data to shed some light on/release b21 He said lua will be used for scenes and influencing the input, so I assume that means triggers(ex. kill (actor) map explodes) for events and remote triggered(ex. press k to detonate bomb) events.
