Lizard, you just gave me an idea. Fire Tool: Wherever it is used, a stream of fire appears. Napalm-y fire, that falls to the ground and burns for a while.

Where's my Orbital Bombardment marker? And where's TLB's paycheck?

goto tool: you press an actor, then where you want it to go, then optimal route will be made.
Fire command tool: press an actor then press where it should fire.
the both of them could be eiterone press or you press pie menu to cancel actor selected. Just... select the actor? I think a Control tool would be better.

Control tool can't be done, as I've said before (although I guess 13 pages of comments sort of buried that somewhere along the way). I can probably get firing and goto working, though.

Squeegy, it's easier to manage 10+ soldiers when you have a way to manage them.

Can't be done? Can't you just jack the mind control gun code?

I don't care how glitchy it is. TLB, you are a god.

Actually, I've discovered that the mind control ray has the same problem. I'd prefer not to repeat it.

Okay, the mind control gun uses a detection code that is based off of what actor is closest to when activated, and this is what the problem may lie in. So make an exclusion that excludes the pointer ( because it is an actor ) so it detects something other than the pointer. The rest is just Get Actor ID, Switch To Actor of said Id. Another problem would be changing the team of said actor.

Uhh... What? If I didn't do that, how do you think I'm detecting actors so I can kill them or make them invincible? The problem is, as I've now explained 3 times in this topic, that switching an actor's team leads to instability. This doesn't need to crash any more than it already does.

Then don't switch it's team, mind control.

There is only one way to do that, and the camera would not be centered on it. I guess I could move the cursor to its position but that would involve a lot of rewriting of code.

Re: The FBM CB 4200 - Now deployable in the field!
Erm, TLB, when you used the mind control gun, it switched your control to whoever was nearest to the ball of control. So, that means the mind control command will make you command the target, not the shooter. If this switch didn't happen, how would you control your mind controlled DropShip?

As I've said before, the mind control ray is unstable because of that very problem that I've now explained 3 times. You may not have noticed it, but it's pretty bad.
