Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.1)
Now that UniTec is a certified Unmapped Lands faction I want to make a huge post where I ♥♥♥♥♥ about prices but unlike W40k Mod (where I did write a huge bitching post) UniTec has a little bit more actors and weapons so I'll just give it up. v v

Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.1)
I can understand, but I would love to discuss this though. Are prices too high or too low in your opinion? Are there specific guns/actors that should be a lot less/more expensive?

Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.1)
Waay too low for most things in your mod. As I've said before, I did testing for all stuff in W40k mod, compared it with vanilla counterparts to determine the price. Well, your actors in some cases take as much damage as Space Marines and I got Space Marines price to be at 500 per actor. Also some of your weapons are much more powerful than Heavy Bolter (that UniTec machinegun for example) and it costs 750oz right now

Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.1)
Hmm. Complicated stuff. I find the heavy bolter much more dangerous than that unitec minigun (mx?). If I recall correctly, one bullet from the bolter pops a unitec guy to shreds. Although I can see why the MX should be more expensive. Anyway, if you do find the time and motivation to look at my stuff I'll promise to take a serious look at it.

Keep the prices as they are, most of them are right.

Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.2)
My apologies for yet another small update. I promise, no more updates for a while now. Main thing is zealot and SHIELD turrets for unmapped lands. Also, when Weegee updates unmapped lands UniTec and SHIELD won't be using the much too powerful missile barrages as turrets anymore.

Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.2)
What doesn't work about that mod anyway? I believe Weegee said it should work on a mac? Perhaps you can post some error messages in the unmapped lands thread?

Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.2)
I'm a bit confused as to how you change presets on an Actor. Could you explain it a bit?

Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.2)
You mean how to add certain weapons to an actor or how to modify a preset .ini file to hide/show weapons/actors?

Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.2)
Actors specifically in your mod. Say I wanted to change whatever Vicky's spawning inventory is to include a Steyr AUG. I see about 7 preset files in the folder, and I'm at a loss as to which one/ones to change and how to load the one I want.

Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.2)
Well, only Presets\Presets.ini is loaded. This file is overwritten whenever you run Presets.bat (windows only) and select another preset config. When you open this file, look for 'Vicky' at the top and just add the following lines beneath the actor, after the line Buyable = 1: Code: AddInventory = HDFirearm CopyOf = Steyr AUG GoldValue = 0 If you want to add grenades then this is an example: Code: AddInventory = TDExplosive CopyOf = Thermal Grenade Belt GoldValue = 0 And if you want to add a shield: Code: AddInventory = HeldDevice CopyOf = Force Shield GoldValue = 0 You can check Shoplist.png for every item's presetname. (Keep in mind that they're case sensitive.) The GoldValue = 0 is optional. If not added then the game will charge you extra for the actor's inventory.

Re: UniTec (B26_1.2.2)
So I did what you said, editing the SHIELD only preset to cut out some extra actors, and add a few extra variations of Mike in. When I loaded CC, I just had the standard presets that SHIELD only is assigned. I figured the problem was that I loaded the SHIELD only preset before I edited it, so I loaded it again (Post-editing) and my copy of CC seemed to crash. I don't have an error report (Already redownloaded), but I do remember that it seemed to edit something within the base files even after I took Unitec out. Or maybe CC just self-destructed.
