Vista blocks notepad from editing files when CC is in program files. For some retarded reason.
I installed CC in C:/Cortex Command to get around that issue.

Seriously. Are you people just dyslexic or something? Its gotta be either Dyslexia, Mental Retardation, or Masochism. One of the three. Pick.

All three.
Though I myself missed that bit in the post when I downloaded it, I fixed it myself...
Because, y'know, it's a sort of minor error compared to some of the stuff most people here have had to fix.

I for one always uncomment that line as the 1st thing I do after I get a new build. You know, cuz I'm used to having green and blue clones.

Ok. I know zero code. HOW DO YOU "UNCOMMENT" IT?!!!
Even better, just FIX THE PROBLEM YOURSELF, Whitty!

Uncommenting is done by removing the // before a line or by removing the /* */ sandwiching a segment of code.

Base.rte is found in your cortex command folder. It takes 20 seconds to find the file. I would suggest that Whitty should possibly include the base.rte edit for the extremely dumb to prevent things like this.

Or just include the necessary files into his own mod.

What a concept!

I for one think that making your mod work without ANY dependence on Base.rte is a thing that all mods should do.

Eh. Null.bmp (the right one), materials, and gibs, are all pretty "safe" stuff to copy. But if you require the user to have a modified base.rte, that's just silly. And dumb.

But you're missing out if you don't have the blue and green clones. So I am, in a way, helping them out.
