Trololol, NaXx. In case someone's curious and want to read about the missions I had in mind. Also, a hugely unfinished UFO sprite. Hopefully the final product will have a green laser beneath it, spraying death while delivering zealots.

Re: UniTec (B26_1.0.0)
Gotcha, those ideas are very good. That would be like a huge campaing. A huge cool campaign.
And considering the maps are already done, scripting the rest shouldn't take a lot of time. Hell, if I knew how to script missions I'll do it myself, but they'll probably wouldn't be very good.
Well, I'll begin learning on mission scripting, and if I get good enough and no one better is helping you, I'll help you in coding that.

Be careful of what you say, Asklar, because it'll be a LOT of work.

Re: UniTec (B26_1.0.0)
Dude. If I learn enough on mission making, I'll help you out, because I always have free time. Well, not always, but I barely ever do stuff for school.
So Gotcha, helping you is not the problem; the problem is learning mission scripting.

Re: UniTec (B26_1.0.0)
O RLY?It was a game WAAAAY first though. And an awesome game too. Also It's kinda ironic that the game pioneered FPS games and the movie showed us all that cheesy FPS scenes in movies are just plain uncalled for. lol Hey Gotcha!, if you wanted i could maybe help you out with a Doom pack since you help me with the lizards so much!

Re: UniTec (B26_1.0.0)
Urgh, why would you bring that horrid tripe to anyone's mind? That entire movie (utter Hollywood garbage) was uncalled for. Doom or anything related doesn't really need an extended story. You're a guy with a gun and you need to go somewhere. Zombies, demons and the rest of hell stands in your way. What do? Apologies for the derailing. I'm a hopeless enthusiast.

Re: UniTec (B26_1.0.0)
Funny you should mention that because since we were discussing Doom we were never really off topic. Unitec has Doom in it so therefore anything Doom related is relevant to Unitec. (Within reason) Unless you count those youtube links. Those may have been a tad off topic. So anyway, Unitec missions would be so awesome. Maybe if you ask really nice TLB will help you. He would definitely be the person I would ask for help if I ever wanted to make a BOMB ASS MISSION!

Asklar wrote: Or weegee. He is the modder KNOWN for missions. This is true. Even if they didn't help directly though, there are oodles of people willing to help with lua just for the practice. Isn't that what you always tell me? lol Unitec missions are a very plausible possibility.

Re: UniTec (B26_1.0.0)
Ok, tomorrow I guess I'll have more free time. That's when I'll start learning mission making and stuff.
I hope it's not too hard, but I think that I'll learn it.
Then, UniTec campaign GO!
