Re: UniTec (B25_1.1.0)
Probably. I have to have my jetpacks bro. Maybe I would just bother Roast for his copy.

Re: UniTec (B25_1.1.0)
Maybe not to match vanilla (c'mon, those jetpacks are WEAK!), but a little, little less powerful.
I just love playing with UniTec because they are easy to move around.

Re: UniTec (B25_1.1.0)
vanilla jetpacks are worthless.
i mean come on you'd think if we could put brains in jars we could develop cheap jetpacks that are able to sustain reasonable flight.
especially with how worthless walking over terrain is

Gotcha! wrote: Would people kill me if I would greatly reduce jetpack flight time, to match up with vanilla a bit more? Either that or hike up the prices. You could also do both, weaken some of the actors' jetpacks, and make the ones with superpowered jetpacks two to three times their current price. The way I see it, a huge part of the game balance is rooted in the fact that, while very powerful, heavy weapons require a huge sacrifice in speed and mobility. With the enormous mobility advantage that the current overpowered unitech jetpacks give, there's no reason to ever use a non-unitech actor, and no reason to ever use anything but the most powerful guns in the game. Edit: IMO, the vanilla jetpacks should be very slightly more powerful, but not nearly as much as the unitech ones

Re: UniTec (B25_1.1.0)
Or you could add mehmans Mobility script to this and weaken the jetpacks, I think that would be the best of both and you can put some people as runners and some as jetpackers (there are two versions now) Nicolas X

Nah, don't put the Mobility in, I think that's a bad idea.

prep the nun wrote: especially with how worthless walking over terrain is Climbing a steep grade can be frustrating, especially in snow or sand, but walking isn't as slow as it might seem. I used to think that walking was slow and worthless, until I learned the "ctrl+p" (display performance stats) and "ctrl+o" (force realtime simulation) commands. I have a crappy computer, so I spend most of my time around 1/5th normal speed, but on a map with few actors, or if I force realtime simulation, walking somewhere isn't really a pain at all. Though, that's just my opinion.

Re: UniTec (B25_1.1.0)
I just finished updating all the weapon modes luas and tested as much as I could. But there's a 99.9% probability that I overlooked something, knowing my chaotic self. -_- I'd like to finish up on other things and I have hope people would like to test if they all work as they should. The light blue guns have alternate fire modes. Also, let me know if the jetpacks are not too weak.

I think you should change the Springfield sprite. It's kind of really tiny and stuff.

@Miggles: I'll see what I can do. @scrdest: Why does the number 2112 bug you?
