Heh, that reminds me of Counterstrike for Kids video on YouTube where near the end they advertise Counterstrike Extreme Gore Edition.

Yeah most people dont like it, but a mod like this allows many kids to play, when otherwise they would have to hide it from their parents.

This would actually be useful as a option in the hardcode of the game, so people dont have to join the forums to find the no gore version......

Not everyone finds how reallistic it is, its more the concept of the fact that your shooting people and laughing as they violently bleed to death. Without the blood it seems a little less evil in some situations....

(yes I could not think of a replacement word for evil....)

nah, im just saying that to some people it can be. Also if people tend to randomly walk in and watch you, you have to safegaurd yourself from getting yelled at. Im not saying its wrong to play games like CC at all. But removing blood helps alot with letting children play it.

Ha. Ha. "Violently bleeding to death." Pretty sure dying of blood loss is one of the least violent ways to die, as far as that goes.

Besides which, one of the draws of the game is its gore. If someone can't handle that, they should go play Worms or something.

What.

Also some people are attracted to the physics based everything and the pile of emergent gameplay that comes from that. I personally found the gore of the game a little affronting when I first played it, but the rest of the game kept me playing it. Are you saying you'd have preferred that I got turned off the game by the blood because I was too sissy, played worms exclusively and never joined DRLFF?

I know you're not, but please put a little more thought into your post, possibly avoiding "jokes" like that.

ever played Serious Sam? they've got multiple blood options such as: Hippie, Green, etc. Maybe you should make some different styles of blood.
