ok i love what the guns do, but arent they resprites of other guns. The fireworks gun is a tommy gun it looks like and the rifle is a ronin rifle long. Im not trying to be a downer or anything (done this before) but making your own sprites is something that could make this mod even better.

That is sort of the point I think, to make guns that are similar-looking but different for factions. Like the Green Storm pack is made in the style of the Coalition.

I see your point but green storm is similiar to the base weapons. This however looks as iff he just added a few things to the guns. Its a good technique for first time modders. To me this seems like a minor mod and a major mod in the making.

I am insulted by your accusation of merely hacking together the sprites, but I understand your suspicion. While I do occasionally take parts from guns to create weapons which seem more in the vanilla style, I would never merely change a few parts.
The TR and FWL will be receiving changes visually, not only in firing but in handling as well, if only to quell you.

Well this mod definitely involves resprite, but there's more.

I think GreenStorm has less creative value than Red Loki, because most of its guns involve resprites and some change in sharpness and stuff like that. Red Loki however, has good idea like expanding the Ronnin armory, a good concept like a fireworks weapon, unique coding, visual effects and overall a decent execution, so this is technically not just a resprite anymore. I'd say GreenStorm is border-line, but Red Loki definitely has more to it than resprites.

I'm not encouraging thesoupiest to do resprites for the rest of his mods, of course I'd like to see unique sprites, for the sake of visual creativity and simply having new stuff.

I didn't just hack together the vanilla sprites. I started with one and worked on it.
Resprites are recolors of vanilla content. I have the decency to actually change them.

Well, resprite to me also includes cut and paste of sprites. Didn't make that clear. And I know you do draw parts of it yourself so, sorry if I did not acknowledge your actual spriting skills.

Then again, I don't think your work is bad. I still have GreenStorm in my CC folder.

It's obvious to see parts of other vanilla guns in your work, that's why it's so easy to slip and say they're reprites or at least partially.

Your mods amaze me. They're really good, and the sprites fit right in with Vanilla. In fact, I'd say a lot of your stuff should be ADDED TO Vanilla.

The Firworks Launcher ist just great!
If the nothing happens, you can order a Solider with this gun, shoot in the air and watch the Firework.
TNT is cool too.

Great job here Soupiest! The fireworks launchers alot of fun. very interesting concept
The Lightning gun is pretty sweet although, in my opinion, it could use a slightly better sound, but still very good all around.
The TNT doesn't have much of an application other than blasting doors as others said, but its cool anywho,

The sprites are VERY good. I feel as If you should take the comments accusing you of respriting as compliments, as you've made content close enough looking to vanilla to be accused of respriting haha.

Overall good job, keep it up!

I entirely agree with InsertNameHere. It would add much more of a dynamic to the Ronins. Give them more of a cobbled together revolutionary feel.
