Thanks for the comments, consider my ego stroked.
If you are running the game with a very high delta time or have turned off "one sim update per frame" (ctrl+o) the rockets perform worse. At the moment the code assumes that you use a delta time close to 0.016667.

This is awesome! I love how my guys never die from rockets falling over and stuff... while the enemy is being smashed to death by idiotic AI!
And yes... Abdul's mods should all be stickied!
