   |   Re: BARGAIN ARMS (Modding Theme Entry: Economy)This is actually pretty well-done, and fun to use as well. Were we still giving votes, I'd give it an easy 8/10 Also; who the hell are PvtVain and darkdoom and why are they critiquing a good mod when they have done absolutely nothing insofar as publicly released mods go.

   |   Re: BARGAIN ARMS (Modding Theme Entry: Economy)You don't have to be a modder to criticise a mod. You do, however, have to be good at actually providing criticism rather than complaining.

   |   Re: BARGAIN ARMS (Modding Theme Entry: Economy)Well, of course not, but their attitudes are annoying. >You edited CC's original weapons. GOOD JOB Implies he can do better. >i agree... this is not special, it's just edited vanilla. Dang man even I can do this and I suck at .ini! Implies that since he sucks at .ini modding and could do this that the OP also sucks at .ini modding in extension. But that's all irrelevant, since we should be discussing the mod itself Sorry for that little tangent.

   |   Re: BARGAIN ARMS (Modding Theme Entry: Economy)Hence my proviso that you actually have to be criticising as opposed to complaining.

   |   Re: BARGAIN ARMS (Modding Theme Entry: Economy)You guys don't even remember that awesome se7en corp orange-ified coalition mod ages ago? Sigh. Maybe I have been here for a while or something, but that was cool. And yeah, that more recent mod that I haven't been able to get much play out of too.[/grumble]
Nice work on this, I love dangerous things that are hard to kill things with, it's a fun concept (similar to a rocket with finicky engines). Sprites are unsuck as well, which is to be expected of edited Arne work but whatever.

   |   Re: BARGAIN ARMS (Modding Theme Entry: Economy)I think this mod is a brilliant idea, it just needs some extra work, like making the differences to the handgun slightly more noticeable (Sound perhaps?), aswell as a general expansion, maybe diggers and bargain shields.
Hell, even go all the way to create a bargain faction.

   |   Re: BARGAIN ARMS (Modding Theme Entry: Economy)I love what the YAK47000 does in this,a gun that shoots things like that FORWARD would be pretty good as a bunker clearer. Also, you should make the uBar cannon even cheaper since the misfire rate is pretty high.To compensate for this, make it "suspiciously light" and make it dual-wieldable due to the low weight.

Actually, that was a retarded idea ignore it
