Re: Metroids V2.0 -Modding Theme Entry: Wildlife-
I think because of all the code required to make them hunt and whatnot, controlling them would only cause problems. Loving the pretty colours btw. EDIT: also, could you make it so that the different varieties of metroid try to eat each other? that would make it much more realistic... oh wait, sometimes they do anyway, especially those pesky phazon ones... 9/10. Pretty damn awesome, fairly original and extremely fun to play with. One quirk was that I didn't notice much difference between the regular Metroid and the Tallon, but I haven't dug into it much yet. Here's an activities file for use in skirmish.

Re: Metroids V2.0 -Modding Theme Entry: Wildlife-
uhmmm Isn't this against the rules? I mean...These arn't particular...Wildlife. Sure cute small dudes with a good and okay animation, but...But...Wildlife? Metroids are artificial organisms = controlled life = not wildlife... http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/Metroid_(Species)so because of this I will only give it: 4/10

That 4/10 was uncalled for. I'm not telling you how to rate, it's just that your only reason for it is null and void.

I would with no doubt increase it if it weren't because of the "none-wildlife" I think its good, but for the competition I think it should be lowered, Because of the "none-wildlife"

Re: Metroids V2.0 -Modding Theme Entry: Wildlife-
Please just stop it with the "I have more knowledge than you do" kind of thing here.. The wiki could be ♥♥♥♥ for all you know and it has a lot of backstorys for them anyway. Just Bare with the program. Cavecricket made the description for the contest as Quote: Something living... And wild. And so I do beleive that Metroids are "Living" and they are "Wild" as they do like to go crazy over anyone but themselves. Much like any other type of wild animal. BAM CORRECTION FEELS GOOOD DON'T IT!?!Also the difference between the Tallon Metroid and the Normal is that the Tallon can attack brains and crafts as well give more damage. Normal ones just go after any Actor thats just passing by.

Code: Species created by something else isn't wildlife...Just my opinion...
On table mountain in South Africa where I used to live, scienists are trying to recreate an extinct species of zebra called a Quagga by splicing Quagga DNA onto the closest living zebra relation. There is now a population of almost-Quaggas alive and they are close to being perfected. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quagga_ProjectWould you call these wildlife? As they are not domesticated in any way and roam free with in certain land in eleven different places? As long as they are WILD they can be considered WILDlife By the way 9/10, great mod!

These don't seem exactly domesticated.

Coops, I love you. This is one high-class, high-quality mod. As it's not perfect, I'd normally only give it an eight or a nine, but I'ma give it 10 out of 10 to counteract certain persnickety point losses.

Re: Metroids V2.0 -Modding Theme Entry: Wildlife-
Awesome mod! It would be nice if you could make a baby metroid that follows around the first actor it "sees" and attacks any other actors.
