very nice mod nummy but the harpoon gun is realy just a grappling gun. i would keep the grappling gun effect but make it kill people while you grab them with ity.

Now we need someone to make sharks and underwater wildlife like an octopi and electric eels. Actual sharks, not laser sharks, even though laser sharks are pretty epic.

I couldn't figure out how to make it deal damage to actors it hit, since when you shoot at actors, its most likely going to hit an attachable or some other piece that is not the body of the unit. To remove damage from something, the harpoon needs to be stuck to the source of the objects (see: torso). I had some script attempting to deal damage when it hit actors, but it did not work and gave me errors instead.

So then I added the RIP AND TEAR feature. When you latch onto an object that you think weights less than 60 kilos, you can RIP AND TEAR it by holding CROUCH + JUMP + UP. This will make the spear literally rip that objects off by deleting it (attempting to make it gib gave errors). Its quite powerful ingame and this solution allows you to use the spear gun for non lethal tasks aswell (ride on other friendly units like crabs to reach and stay at bottom).

This is great! I love shooting someone with the harpoon then either pulling their head off or taking their weapons. I wish there was a special unit with a red harpoon thats leathal.

this guys are great and works perfect underwater, the torpedo is just perfect with the manual control

I do. 1. It would be a nice way of transport like an orange and black submarine 2. It just serves the purpose 3.it looks pretty cool too
