I actually feel the mission is the better executed part of the mod.

I like the idea of the gunship, but it handles just like your hover tank. Very touchy to fly. You have to focus on flying entirely to keep in the air sometimes, and the multiple tapping to turn is clunky when you're also trying to shoot the minigun and/or fire rockets.

The mission though is all I like in a mission. Seemingly insurmountable enemies, little chance for success, wit and combat prowess are the only advantages you have. I love it. Any mission that I can't beat on the first few tries is a winner in my book. Also props to the anti-cheater attempts by clearing money every few seconds. Editing this mission is a really good durability test for an actor, though.

Polish up the gunship. The mission however is golden. Good work.

Hmm, with this kind of ability, you could make an actual airstrike designator.

... Abdul, how about dropped munitions?
Like the UAVs.

I think I've found a bug: When using a gamepad everything works, even the rockets, but for some strange reason you can't change the direction, this was rather anoying for my friends and brother because well, it makes it quite a lot harder.

Btw, great mod, love it. Gunship doesn't really fly that bad, I would like it if the dubble tap would make it not tople over to the left or right that much, maybe re-stabilize it after a direction change?

man in the Windons the move keys are "c" and "d" , double tap the move key to turn the helicopter.
These helicopter in the first time are hard to control :( to dont lose the control just fly slowly :wink:.

EDIT: forgot: Windons="c" "d" = double tap move keys = turn the helicopter.
Windons = gamepad = double tap the gamepad's move button = turn the helicopter.

I know how to turn the helicopters, I actually said that in my post, but we can bash the buttons as much as we like but the heli won't turn when using a gamepad. But it will on keyboard.

If it were more stable and less crash into the ground upside down-y, it would be awesome. If you just applied an angle limit to it, and maybe made that a seperate version so that people can still have the hardcore ones, it'd be perfect.

I'll worship you, Abdul Alhazred, for this mod, and big thanks to anyone involved in this.

For so long I have not played such a thrilling yet entertaining mission(since Weegee hasn't made missions in the past months). And I must say the gunship is really really well executed. It's not just a random vehicle, but with good controlling and helipad included.

I love this mod, very very sincerely much.

I second this but it is, very, very hard to control at times. It's also fun to pretend i'm flying an Apache Heli supporting military troops.The mission was almost hard for me seeing as the mortar was pretty much owning me. Love the mod though, keep it up.

I still can't beat the mission after 4 tries on easy. This one's close to Weegee level if you ask me.

I'd say don't push it on the controls. Tap gently and it'll move just fine. Though I think I'll have to practice some evasive maneuvers if I want to beat this mission.

The controls are great, I think. I specifically like how it doesn't limit your angle to babysit you, allowing you to really manually fly it. Occasionally requiring all your focus on maneuvering seems perfectly reasonable.

my second try and i won it in easy, really hard and awsome, my soldiers sacrifice for portect the brain but was useless, the colaition take the bunker, but just before do anything, the gunship arrive and start his killing spree all over the coalition troops and base, it cost me 2 ships just to get with the third to the artillery and sams, after the bloody battle the results : 22 ronin troops death incluided the 4 gunships and 108 coalition troops

this mod looks like a revolution, mission not editable in the editor, helicopters and red ronin team coming in transportation of wildlife.

I love it! But (there are always some "but"'s) you typified on Mi-24 Hind didn't you? Also, changing direction by aiming backwards would be much better. The mission is monstrously hard, but that ain't anything new in CC and, having new missions so rarely, quite good for extending time spent with one.
