Re: DarKlone Tech
classic gaming is only good when its FUN, i enjoy classic gaming, but when the predecessor is worse than the bigger better deal, take Super Mario and Super Mario World, they were both classics, but SMW was the newer better one, so i think we go with the bigger better deal if you know what i mean but i'm not going against this mod or anything, without this there would be no darkstorm, but darklone is a relic, why don't we have a memorial mods sticky for this to be in? not only would people admire older mods like this, they would actually try it out even though they have something better in their CC directory... now THAT would be cool, and then people could say that WAS a cool mod, i USED to like that mod, all without the hassle of PerfectKirby coming in and putting up a stupid worthless comment that everyone has to go against just so he could prove his point, you gettin me?

DLing Yeah... the medium ones torsos are leaned forward, but their heads are set back too far, and their legs don't really match up with leaning over very well. There's a reason I just completely redesigned everything.

PerfectKirby wrote: classic gaming is only good when its FUN Muhaha, define fun. Have you ever played the original Mega Man? Unforgivingly difficult. That's not fun for a lot of people, unless you like your games served with a dash of cruelty. I have the utmost respect for anyone who can beat that game. Buuut, you got some people who enjoy that kind of thing. As frustrated as I got, I still enjoyed it. Er, anyway. The moral of the story here is that everyone's got their philosophy on what they like. Some enjoy classic gaming because it's retro. Others because it's a challenge. Others because they still find the games legitimately fun. Different strokes for different folks. This mod might just not be your cup of tea if you prefer something more recent and polished. PerfectKirby wrote: oh btw, ignore my previous posts, i felt like being trollish and bad moody, i have a bad cold By the way, you can't blame a moody/trollish comment on sickness. Regardless of how you feel, in the end it's you who has the option to think about what you're gonna say and whether or not it ought to be said. And I doubt that sickness changes your philosophy on what you like anyway.

I've always liked the DarKlones over the Darkstorms. I think it's the plasma lances that sold me.

I remember these guys. I like the flamthrower a bit. When an enemy coalition was above me, I use the flamethrower and it pushed it up and away. lol
Maybe Darklone needs a tank and so does darkstorm.
I like darkstorm better but the weapons need to be much stronger like on the level of the famas in UniTec's armory.

@PerfectKirby: Oh, that was deliberate.
The DarKlones are interesting to play as, but I honestly think they would be more entertaining to fight, considering their crazy toughness.

I like darkstorm better but the weapons need to be much stronger like on the level of the famas in UniTec's armory. There will be no development of DarKlone, I can guarantee you that. "Officially" DarkStorm is the replacement, though I don't mind DarKlone being around, obviously. I've thought about heavier units, and hey who knows. I imagine any kind of tank would basically be a mobile shishi of sorts. As such, it'd probably be fairly expensive. I'd have to find some kind of turtle creature to name it after. Considering there will never be water in CC, maybe I could go with Kappa. I think they're turtles...

Re: DarKlone Tech
Kappa are more commonly humanoid though, if I remember correctly. Try this instead perhaps? It is Chinese, admittedly, but it could work if you envision the snake as the turret or plan on having a lower cannon. Or this. Saw them in a temple in china; they are portrayed as fairly vicious.

I thought DarkStorm and DarKlone was Japanese....
