No, the AI can not use it. There is no mechanism for it to trigger automatically.

The AI might be able to use the mounted weapon on the turret, but is unlikely to do so, assuming there is no code limiting turret usage to player controlled actors, which I doubt there is.

Actually the AI tries to use the stasis generator (the fact that it fails miserably is another story altogether) if it is shut down when an enemy approaches.

hmm the accuracy of the original gun is canceled out and the accuracy is terrible. And the amount of ammo it originally holds is cancelled out too. Is there any way to fix that?
