Re: Metal Slug Tanks v1.0
This mod is Awesome. With a capital A. Sure, I helped with some tiny bits of code, but NaXx is the brain behind this masterpiece. The thunder tank is my favorite, with the regenerating power. Good job! Not to mention how cool it is to use in multiplayer, like this: Player 2: "Ha, I have an uber cannon! Bow before my power!" Player 1: "Really? 'Cause i've got a metal slug tank with big missile launchers." Player 2: "OSHI-" *gets his guts blown sky-high*

That's not the mod; it's you. Here is from line 184 on From setings.ini of course in base.rte Code: PieMenu = InputMapping KeyMap = 40 MouseButtonMap = 1 Jump = InputMapping KeyMap = 90 Crouch = InputMapping KeyMap = 73 Next = InputMapping KeyMap = 42 Prev = InputMapping KeyMap = 41 Start = InputMapping KeyMap = 0 Back = InputMapping KeyMap = 0

Megaupload is giving me problems. Can you try uploading it onto filefront instead?

Re: Metal Slug Tanks v1.0
Okay, so, I DLed and tested this and it has more bugs than a 3 week old crime scene. the tanks themselves are fantastically sprited but, you didn't make them, there ripped from another game.
None of the tanks can move. they just sort of sit there and twitch. the smallest one kind of hops about when you try to move. the ammo is broke. the missiles explode before they get anywhere. this can also happen if the emitters cause damage, or if they are to far forward and are not set to ignore parent.
The ammo that are giant balls or bombs also do not work. The offsets are not in the center, so they sort of wobble around. fire at a door and watch it bounce, you'll see what I mean.
Fix the offsets for the ammo, fix the missiles, and move the legs around so that they actually work. make it so that you don't need to have jet-packs. also incidentally, the jetpacks don't always work, sometimes they just sort of tilt the tanks at weird angles. now you'll have to excuse me I think I just broke a small bone in my foot just a moment ago (got stuck under a piece of furniture, long story.)

Re: Metal Slug Tanks v1.0
Woo yeah! Good job Naxx! Does the Bradley still auto-destructs when firing at high angles? Anyway, props to the final release!
@havoc: I have met this problem before, and after a re-install of CC I immediately saved my settings.ini in a backup folder. Next time you encounter the error, just scooch over to your backup folder, copy the settings.ini and paste it in base.rte. Be sure to have your settings tweaked to your specs before you copy the file though.
@miles: there's a fix for the Bradley a few post above you, but I don't think the tanks should just stay there... they work in my comp. Try moving above flat concrete, then above dirt, and tell me what's wrong again.

Cool, I was wondering when these would be released.
I'll give my two cents when I get a chance to play.

Re: Metal Slug Tanks v1.0
I can confirm that driving on anything but flat concrete will not work. But if you do have flat concrete to drive on, you'll be driving like a master.
Also are you working on this now NaXx?
There are lots of work still needed to make it better and more workable like the explosion effects for missles, independent trail emission and more blast power for bradley missiles and lots of random junk to remove for starters.
