Thanks for the Sprite but I've already made my own.
Just trying to adapt it to act like a plasma rifle from halo rather than the one from Ivan's Space marine mod which is too overpowered.

It doesn't make any sense at all, but hey, neither does the forum administration so it's all jim-dandy. Well about 90% of the mods here are going to be updated sooner or later, or at least their creators expressed that intent. While it's a bit silly for a mod that intends to have a bunch of stuff to start off with a single resprite-ish gun, it's not like there's a definitive line that can be drawn about the quality of mods that are allowed to be posted here, and even if there was, it'd be a pain for the (forum) mods to move all the starter topics here once they gained a few more things.

Now we actually have more vehicles and stuff to go with the Halo mod. (Thank you Halo Wars.) If you're going to use the sprite on the right, then you gotta make a spartan or marine larger than the average coalition.

If you're going to use the sprite on the right, then you gotta make a spartan or marine larger than the average coalition. all we need is a halo esque map, some grunts, a pelican and a phantom for a halo battle! but thats not gonna happen. i like the smaller version of the assault rifle. its in a better proportion to the actor (the robot you showed us in the screeny) then the bigger one. the coding is good and the sprites are good but i dont think the spartan's sprite looks like the spartan in halo. the only thing that told me this mod was about halo is A) the topic and B) the assault rifle.

The left one. The other one is not a weapon from halo at all. Too big. And NO it does not look like an SMG. Not to mention it's not dual wieldable.

SMG = fast fire rate + duel wieldable. Assault Rifle = med fire rate + 2 handed Battle Rifle = DarkStorm DMR resprite. one shot weapon, 3 shots per click. Sniper rifle = self explanatory. Spartan Laser = Hard to code? Steal AALs laser BFG.

SMGs are normally held in both hands. But master chief can wield one in each because he is so awesome the sound of how awesome he is drowns out the laws of physics telling him he can't reload holding a 2 handed gun in each hand.
